We've always enjoyed our breakfasts here (great bacon!) but we've tried lunches and dinners and they are pretty average. This particular visit we had the cheeseburger baskets that were on special. We watched for quite some time as our meals sat at the window and weren't particularly hot by the time they reached us. We had also asked for well done fries, but they were very white... and again not real warm. The waitress was friendly enough, but we probably won't return unless it's for breakfast.

I stopped in for breakfast. They had real chicken fried steak, thick and cooked on the grill rather than deep fried. Good white gravy. Eggs done right. Friendly and efficient waitresses I read the coffee was weak. Well, it isnât an upscale coffee shop but mine was full strength. And it kept coming
Where to eat Bar food in Roseburg: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Previously known as Brutke's Wagon Wheel, this restaurant has undergone a menu, decor, and name change just recently. The owner has owned the restaurant for five years and has slowly made changes so as to not alienate old customers. We'd never eaten at Brutke's and, because of the name, wouldn't have been inclined to. The new menu has a good variety of entree salads, appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, and fish. We enjoyed the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich (large enough for two small eaters). The bread was fresh, soft, and warm. The prime rib is made in- house and was tender and flavorful. The onions and peppers were crunchy and hot, not limp and overcooked. Kudos for their dinner salads too which were served on chilled plates with very fresh lettuce and a variety of other veggies. I'd give them five stars except the ambiance has a certain unfinished look. Several walls were completely bare. Also, the music drifting in from the bar was hard rock and not conducive to relaxing. We were so impressed with the food though that we will return! We want to try the bay shrimp salad; saw one pass our table loaded with a mound of shrimp. I'm pleased to be their first reviewer and the one who added them to Trip Advisor.

Stopped here on route to Redwood trees. Place was busy but didnât have to wait to be seated. Food took a while to come and came in two separate lots !!! The food was tasty and filling at a reasonable price but the waitress seemed to prioritize the locals as we waited to be served.
