Weâve eaten at Mikeâs many times, and never had a bad, or even mediocre meal. My husband is always torn between the Hungry Mike breakfast, and the pancakes - both are delicious! Iâve had the California Mix or the Eggs Benedict many times, and they are wonderful. The hashbrown casserole and the biscuits & gravy are amazing, and they make their own bread! (Try the rye.) On one visit, I wasnât in the mood for breakfast, so I had the Reuben sandwich. I think it was the best Reuben Iâve ever had! Weâve always had good service, and our server today, Ouida, was no exception - she was fun! Try Mikeâs when youâre really hungry for a great breakfast (or Reuben), I donât think youâll be disappointed!
I have been in a few Waffle House restaurants around the country, and they have all served consistently good breakfasts for reasonable prices. Some of the locations are a bit old and threadbare; this location is newer, modern and clean. My wife and I stopped at this location in Port Orange after an early morning doctors appointment. We walked in the front door and were hit with a rush of bone-chilling cold air. We sat in a booth at the end of the restaurant, looked at the menus and then decided to move to the other end of the dining room, hoping for a warmer spot. No luck, it was just as cold. I noticed that the thermal windows were all sweating. I also noticed that other diners, the servers and helpers all wore sweatshirts or jackets. We placed our orders with the server, and asked him why it was so cold in there. He said they had to have the temperature low to keep the eggs cold. I didn't think to ask him why they didn't just use a refrigerator. After we placed our orders I went out to the car to get jackets and windbreakers for the two of us. They helped a little, but overcoats and hats with ear muffs would have been better.Thankfully, our orders came quickly and hot. The hot coffee hit the spot, too.You get a lot of food for your money here. The food is good and well prepared. Our server was excellent and kept our coffee cups full. Unfortunately, due to the bone-chilling temperature in the restaurant, I doubt I will ever return. Too bad. I gave this restaurant only three stars because it was so uncomfortably cold. The food, value and service deserve five stars.

At Monkey Morning Cafe, we are passionate about food. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so we want to start you off right.
Had breakfast this morning at the Monkey Morning Cafe in Daytona Beach, FL. Excellent food, great companionship, owners very friendly and outgoing. Heard an interesting story on why it is called Monkey Morning. My girl and I have our own "monkey story". We reconnected after 50 years apart and fell right back in love all over again. Great on ya! Will definitely make this our go-to place for breakfast and/or lunch from now on. Best wishes to all from Monkey Man and Monkey Girl.
When we arrived the sign said pleas seat yourself. We did but no one helped us. My wife decided she would get our menus and was asked by a waitress where we were sitting. The waitress said she would bring us menus. After we got menus the service got better. We had a turkey melt sandwich and special of the day a turkey BLT wrap. The food came quickly and was good. There are plenty of menu items and breakfast seems to be a big thing. Inside is nicely decorated and clean. They even have karaoke night!

We have driven past Hannah's a biz-zllion times and never stopped in, so we finally took the leap and tried their lunch time experience. This is your classic breakfast/lunch/no dinner place. Atmosphere is a mom & pop place with mostly tables & chairs. Friendly, local vibe. Obviously a favorite with the senior crowd, as there was a moderate wait for a table. Food was very good. Two of us had burgers and our wives had breakfast. EVERYONE LOVED THEIR FOOD. Big, big burger for the price, including bacon and cheese. Definitely will be back

We love Melâs! Weâve eaten there on many occasions and itâs always awesome! This morning my husband and I and some friends had breakfast there. I had the turkey bacon club- always one of my favorites. My husband had a sausage roll breakfast. Wow!! This was delicious and made from scratch. The table also shared the Captain Crunch French toast- yeah you read that right. Mind blown! So. Freaking. Good. Mel always has creative and delicious specials on the menu. Mel and her staff are always friendly! We always enjoy our experience there.

I can't believe we have never stopped here before. We were driving down US1 looking for breakfast. We found it. As friendly as anywhere we've been. The food was excellent, the prices very reasonable, and the service was first rate. We didn't look for a place the second morning, we just went here. They sell cookies. I suggest you buy a few. I was angry with myself for not getting a few more...

Stopped by with the family for breakfast and thought it was pretty awful. I've never had eggs benedict where the hollandaise sauce was bright orange - like the color of a slice of melted velveeta cheese. Even our two year thought the pancakes were "yucky". Place smelled like cheap version of Lysol. Wait staff was very nice but I'll pass on the food.

This was my 2nd visit and this time I brought my wife with me. She ordered the blueberry pancakes and I ordered one of the specials- the âTexas Skillet. â Pancakes were delicious with loads of plump, sweet blueberries. The skillet was extremely filling- an omelette base in a bowl then filled with potatoes, jalapeños, smoked sausage, onions, cheese and their homemade sausage gravy. Wow! Prices are very reasonable, staff are friendly and attentive and the food was great. Cash only, though.

A little hard to find, but worth the hunt. A local eats place right on the water. Had a wonderful breakfast with my wife. My wife had a pancake that was larger than her plate and she said was very tasty. I had a Greek omelet and not only was it very large it was very good. We will visit this restaurant again.
