The White House Diner is open every Friday night for gourmet dining. It is fantastic. The chef is excellent and the staff wonderful. The diner can only serve approximately 40 people per setting so the quality is excellent. The chef is really gourmet. Every Friday the specials are different and great. Must have a reservation. We dine here all the time.

This is a classic diner with good coffee and a friendly waitress. But they have a very limited menu. Every item has meat. Not everyone eats meat. They should have at least one lunch/dinner item suitable for a vegetarian/vegan. It would be very easy to have a veggie burger, veggie wrap, etc. on the menu. They only item without meat was oatmeal. It was the absolute worst, saltiest oatmeal I have ever eaten. Tasted like someone tipped over the salt container and emptied it in the bowl.

Let me preface by stating that D's is a poor sequel to Eddies, which was the former diner's name of the same building. The food is large portioned and tasty, but it's expensive for essentially fast food. Most dishes hover around ten dollars, which for the Wyoming Valley is very high for junk food. The only real plus of this place is its open 24 hours. It's a perfect place to eat when highly intoxicated and devoid of critical taste.

Stopped in Friday night and was seated right away. Our server was a not a familiar face and we could tell from the start. Our service was so-so, we ordered burgers and fries. Fries were under done and the amount was little for the price, burgers were tasty as usual. Our waiter was not friendly at all. It seems like this place is becoming a HIT or MISS....

We stopped for dinner waited long for food when waitress did bring it I had to tell her she forgot to bring our drinks she said nothing like maybe Iâm sorry put drinks on table and left we never saw her the rest of meal. We had to ask other waitress for rest of services and a third waitress for our bill who said your waitress should have told us she went on break NO the staff should have done their job!!â
