I was returning to my childhood by coming to this restaurant with my parents. This restaurant was a regular destination for my grandparents on a Saturday night. It brought back so many memories as I walked into the inner dining room. It is not fancy or new; the chairs and tables are close together and the carpet is probably the same as when I was there 30+ years ago. That does not deter from the atmosphere. The community is supportive, as was evidenced by our waiting for 30 minutes to get a table at Sunday lunch, immediately after church. The waitress was fast, friendly, and accommodating, despite the very close quarters. Chairs and tables are close and slipping between these makes for hard work for the waitress. We were quickly served water and menus handed out. I got meatloaf and mashed potatoes, with a side of applesauce. Such good comfort. My all-time favorite memory of childhood was of the pies. Royann still serves "raisin crumb pie." How delighted I was when I saw this on the menu and somewhat disappointed when I tasted it. It did not have the same remembered flavor, but I suspect the pies are no longer made on the premises.I can not remember what other family members ordered. but it was still a wonderful local, family run business, which is like stepping back into the 1960-1970s.

Friendly wait staff, hostess checked in on our meal, meal well-paced. Very reasonably priced, breakfast available anytime. French toast and sausage were very good and the scallops were not bad at all even though this is a diner. Server was very personable, friendly and attentive...genuinely nice. Great for kids and families

This restaurant has been here for many years. It's very popular with the local crowd. Dinner time and Sunday's are very busy. Certain times you may end up waiting outside. On Old Bethlehem Pike. Prices very reasonable and service is usually good. Sunday there is a breakfast buffet.
