This eclectic eatery was built from a butcher shop that served Orillia for decades. The insides have been totally redone, a huge street view window added, and the walls decorated with original butcher sales sheets, as well as a special section of wall dedicated to young local artists. Seating varies from cozy tables for two to a family sized picnic table! Food is fresh, with an emphasis on local, healthful ingredients. A welcome addition to Orillia's food scene.

The meals are always great and non greasy 99% of the time. Both staff and patrons are friendly, and treat you as family (as this is a "family" establishment).Yes, there could be rare instances where your meal doesn't arrive as quick as you'd like, but it will be appreciated when you get it (served / prepared fresh and not precooked). For the individual that claims there are not sinks in the washrooms, they must have confused "Hasty" with some other spot, as this has never been true during its 70+ yrs of existence. For a great "time warp" experience, Hasty Tasty is still a great place to visit !!

There's a reason the parking lot is full.....the breakfast special! Great value, fast friendly service, generous portions, hot and tasty. The blackboard specials looked good too, might have to try the lunch special next time we're in the area.

A little pricey. Truck stop food at restaurant prices. The food's okay but nothing to get excited about. The service was mediocre, staff too busy visiting.Better choices nearby. Theo's is just up the street, a real restaurant for the same or less money. For an outstanding breakfast try the Sunshine Grill, across from Food Basics out by Home Depot. Both nicer and better value than Wimpy's.

We tried Hill's Maple Leaf Restaurant for breakfast. First, this is a diner. It's not very big. It's not very new. But it is a place to get a breakfast just like home. Portions were ample. Food was tasty and filling. It's the place locals choose, which was clear to us by the way the welcoming staff called many of the customers by name. Looking for eggs and homefries (round or square)? Try Hill's.

We were trying to find a new diner since the one we used to go to in town closed recently. My husband had pancakes and I had French toast. The French toast was fresh and cinammony and delicious.my husband enjoyed his pancakes as well. Can't wait to try other things on the menu. Lots of regulars there, always a good sign . The service was quick, and the waitresses were all very attentive and friendly, as advertised!
