Had breakfast there the other morning while brother-in-law was in surgery. My first visit there and was duky impressed with the service and food. The quality of the eggs benedicts were great and the hash browns almost filled the plate. Will have to try again a different day.

We recently patronized the Metro Diner, located on San Jose Boulevard and enjoyed another delicious meal. We both had burgers this time and I enjoyed the bacon-mushroom-swiss burger. Once again we enjoyed more food for the money that translated into two full meals for each of us. We have been coming to this Metro Diner for several years now and it's always well packed and busy. Not surprising as the food is always excellent and plentiful.

Salad was wilted. Hamburgers were grey coming out of the cooler. Hash browns and waffle was burnt. Had to ask for everything. Never got refills. And there was only 2 other people in the building. Employees arguing. It was ridiculous.

We shared a shrimp and crab salad with great pleasure. I notice interesting eggs Benedict dishes, as well as, a wide assortment of sandwiches. Since this visit occured in summer, there was no problem with cold wind whipping through entrance door.

Sheryl was a great server. Personable and fun. Good food. Had an omelet with a variety of veggies and feta cheese. Yummy. Glasses were always filled and coffee refreshed. Only recommendation would be to have filtered water. The Florida water just is hard to drink. I add a lot of lemon
