A well-kept Alpine restaurant, recently reopened under new management. They offer only fresh homemade food (even the bread is homemade!), local cuisine. The team is noticeably very dedicated and friendly.On the cozy south terrase wrapped in warm blankets (February), we had a completely free panoramic view of the mountains to the Matterhorn. We felt really good, could hardly break free and will definitely be back.

Small restaurant (early reservation mandatory!) with a short but very tasty menu, with special dishes that you won't find in any other restaurant in Bettmeralp. Great mix of traditional and nouvelle cuisine. And the Glacktricka team is extremely friendly, creating a sort of familial atmosphere among the guests.

Great food. Was here on business, thankfully some of my colleagues are Swiss and translated the wonderful variety of dishes. Try it out but be prepared to pay for the fine dining.

A very good restaurant, one which was so good for dinner we returned the next day for breakfast. The pizza was delicious, the salads were crisp and dressings home made, and the atmosphere was jovial but not too loud. We shall come again.The breakfast was just as generous and the owner smokes the meat himself (so called Hobelfleisch and Mostbröckli). We stopped here for a late meal. There were plenty of people around having a drink and socializing. The food was decent and filling, but nothing too special. Service was kind and helpful, despite the language barrier.

The retaurant is in chalet style, warm, welcoming and genuine. After a days walking, we were ravenous, so my wife and I shared a Käseschnitte (Swiss cheese, ham and onion on bread done in that special Swiss way) to start with, it was utterly delicious. We then both had the âFake Snailsâ (veal instead of real snails) in an exquisite sauce just with fries and a small very fresh and beautiful salad. We were in heaven, especially helped by a glass of the Walliser fendant to start with and with the main we shared a half liter of a Diolnoir (a wonderful pinot noir variant with a slightly richer and more dimensional flavour). I was treated to a generous Apricotine schnapps with my coffee, as my wife was kindly driving that evening.
