The Brettlalm is located immediately next to the Mittelstation of the Grubigsteinbahn. So you can get here easily by taking the cable car from Lermoos, or by foot, as I did. Nice location, nice terrace with good views towards the Zugspitze. This was the first Alm I been to that had self-service; a thing that appeared to be more common on other Alms as well in the Tiroler Zugspitz area. I had an Almdudler and a very nice cheese soup. The food is brought to you on the terrace by (it seemed to me) mentally lightly handicapped people, but this is a good thing of course, if these people like doing this and it seemed they did :)

We went to WALL following a recommendation of our host and based on the other trip advisor reviews, but we didn't expect it to be so good. We tried various dishes - burgers, Thai, steaks and wings, each of them being tasty, fresh and with some surprising twists. The burgers were some of the best we ever had. Couple this with excellent cold draft beer, fast and efficient service (unfortunately unusual to this part of the world) and friendly welcoming owners and you'll understand why this place is so highly recommended. Our 2 kids loved it so much the first time, they wouldn't accept going to any other place on the following evening, and quite rightfully so.

really nice food good service. the cheese obatzer cheese is definitly worth trying . aslo spaghetti with lenses(lentils)

Four friends had an incredible meal with exceptional views. This was highly rated by other friends and I was very impressed.My party of four plans to return again during our stay here for hiking and sightseeing.
