We go to this diner once every few weeks. It is close and convenient. It has a decent selection of food and the service is fine. I have just noticed lately, though, that some of the prices seemed to have gone up a lot. $3.50 for a glass of soda? Really. A little disappointed.

We were driving past and stopped in because it looked good from the outside. The inside looks nice and inviting. It's clean. The music is 60's music, which is great. The waiter was a bit odd; sort of like he had someplace better to be. However, he warmed up by the end of the meal. My husband ordered the Philly Cheese Steak and I ordered the BLT Avocado Wrap. When our food came, my husband got his Philly Cheese Steak, but I got a chicken avocado wrap. I'd taken a couple of bites before realizing that the stuff inside the wrap wasn't what I'd ordered. By that time, I just settled for it, since we didn't really want to have to deal with the waiter or take any more time. Both our meals were good. Not outstanding. But good. The hostess was friendly, and when I went to the restroom, she ushered me around the back of the counter, since they were mopping the floor of the walkway and she didn't want me to slip. Overall, it was OK. Not memorable, and the mix up of my order wasn't expected, since we were one of three tables filled at that time (3 in the afternoon on 8-23.)

We had lunch at the Center Diner. The 80-90 year old diner is in great shape and authentic. The food is good and plentiful at reasonable prices. They have a large menu, but there were several items we wanted that were not available. They only take cash so plan ahead. The server was very nice, helpful and attentive. The food came very quickly.

Had a very solid meal here. Typical diner food with reasonable prices and big portions. Lunch sets are very worthwhile with a soup and a drink. Crab in fish was particularly good, along with the moussaka. Food was served fast and staff were very pleasant. Definitely worth a visit. Expect to spend around usd 12-18 per person.
