Reviews on Diner food in Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada. Lloydminster is a Canadian city which has the unusual geographic distinction of straddling the provincial border between Alberta and Saskatchewan. Unlike most such cases (such as Texarkana and Kansas City), Lloydminster is not a pair of twin cities on opposite sides of a border which merely share the same name, but is incorporated by both provinces as a single city with a single municipal administration.

While in Lloydminster for a night, we thought weâd give this cute looking little restaurant a try. After having to navigate detours and back roads-due to construction, we finally got ourselves parked. We were very hungry-after all this was 2:00 in the afternoon, and we were ready to eat!Our first impression was a let down-the business itself looked very nice, but the young lady who greeted us was very surly. By the time we were ready to order, however, she had an improvement in her demeanour. The food was tasty, well priced, and came in a timely manner.

We ate lunch at this restaurant on August 31, 2019. Our meal was very tasty but it took 20 minutes after we were seated by Denny's staff before a waitress arrived to take our order. Then another 25 minutes later we stopped a waiter and told we needed our food he checked and 5 minutes later we had our dinner. so it took at least 50 minutes. The waitress apologized to my wife, she said they were very busy! that was a lie. there were a lot of empty tables. They disorganised, service very slow.

For the night before my birthday I probably wouldn't have chosen a truck-stop diner, but as it was a holiday our choices were limited. However, I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. The food was good and reasonably priced. Good job Husky House!
