Horrible service. We waited 2 hours for the main course. We ordered a fresh fish platter for 3. Once we got it, the fish was not cocked well or some fish overcooked. Horrible expeirence never ever againSehr geehrter GastBesten Dank für Ihre Bewertung.Wir können uns gut an diesem Abend erinnern. Da unser Haus sehr gut besucht ist, kann es teilweise zu Wartezeiten kommen. Wir können Ihnen aber Garantieren dass es keine 2 Stunden waren.Das unsere Fischplatte nicht Ihren Geschmack entsprach bedauern wir sehr. I made a reservation for my B-day for a dinner at 9 PM for 7 guest, by leaving a message in their answering machine. Unfortunately It was not taken in consideration, then when I arrived at 9.00 they said were about to close, ( although there were still people being served in some tables around ). Because I remarked and after requesting again, and again with smiles and good manners, they made an exception of only cooking pizzas.We had them, but they were brought ONE by ONE.The sense of customer care and attention is left to the minimum. The woman in charged only came with a rude manner and although I do speak German and understand Swiss/German, she was much into the point to speak as understandable as possible. The rest of the service, a clerk who spoke our language -Spanish- was completely ignoring the gap and did not helped at all.The table was not set, and we had to set it up ourselves ... while the service was just talking each other.Of course I did not tip, nor I will return...Unfortunately BAD birthday celebration that they not even tried to make it more "nice"

We came here for dinner, and were very happily surprised by this restaurant. All ingredients were fresh, and the food was impressively inventive while maintaining a classic burger appeal.Everything was very flavourful and delicious. The service was fast, and the waitron was very friendly, accommodating and attentive. The portion sizes here are generous. The only slight drawback is that it is quite pricey all things considered, but definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

Sehr kleine Gerichte, eher kühler Service. Teller abräumen ohne Frage nach weiteren Wünschen, obwohl ich im Garten gut eingebettet dass, wurde ich vergessen. Preis-/Leistung für mich nicht stimmend.

Having been there for the first time for a Business lunch, I was impressed with the interesting creativity of the Chef and the high Quality of Food. The Ravioli with Salmon were a delight.The Service Crew is very friendly and knowledgable. Bubendorf may not be at the centre of the Basel Region, but it is definitely worthwile going there to have lunch or dinner.

Very good and big choice of menus during lunch time! About seven to eight different menus at a price range from 18.00 to circa 28.00 swissfrancs. Decent menus a la carte during evening hours. Offers a nice outside area during the summer months.

The place undergone full renovation, only opened two weeks ago. It is splendid. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Beds are as great as at home, maybe better. Excellent bed linens and blankets. Very nice restaurant, great selection of wines. Great for private dinners and small seminars.
