Took my Dad here for his 86 birthday breakfast. Their chipped beef is tasty. I spilled my water as we were finishing up and our waitress was so kind. Thanks.

Good diner
When traveling the New Jersey Turnpike we almost always stop hear, whether for breakfast, lunch, or just a snack. Weâre never disappointed with this classic American diner. The menu is huge, as are the portions, so donât over-order, unless you want left-overs for your next meal. If you become a regular, youâll start to recognize the waitresses. Service is brisk, but friendly and the place is impeccably clean.

This is sort of a hole-in-the-wall place with seating for less than 10 people. I think most would go for take-out. But I am guessing they do a brisk breakfast business. We went for take-out sandwiches. My Jersey Cheese Steak was quite good - the steak is chopped and cooked to crispness (aka, a tad burnt = yummm.) Turkey club on toast was very good - very attractive and good. Hamburger was also good - and quite a find for $4 (if you like a plain burger). Mediterranean chicken wrap was only thing slightly weak on flavor. Friendly people and fast - but certainly not fast-food.

Enjoyed lunch here with my wife and daughter while in Clinton. The menu is huge and features plated entrees as well as salads, burgers, wraps, and other typical lunch offerings. Food was tasty, service friendly and prices fair.

A classic family diner known for having great food, beautiful desserts, a 1927 train-car dining area, and giant hamburgers.
If you have a craving for burgers this is the place. Be prepared to spend time studying the menu before you make your selection. They offer many burgers and lots more. Do not leave before visiting the dessert case - cheese cake is the real thing.
