Things to do in Leander
At first it appears to be a donut shop, walk around the corner and you'll find them tucked in the background. Walk to the doors through covered outdoor seating, complete with fresh growing herbs along the side the staff pick for their dishes. The menu is small but their flavors are big! Many local favorites too include Chicken and Waffles. Modern interior with plenty of room.

We specialize in homemade Dressed Up Country Cooking! We don't serve vegetables from a can or frozen prebreaded chicken fried steaks. Come by to see us for a relaxing time of food and drink. You can eat inside the old farm house or enjoy out door dining u
Went for lunch with friends on an early Saturday afternoon, and the place was humming. Lots of diners seated in both the outside an inside dine areas. Lamanda was our sever and she was great. We ordered the sweet trotters and the zydeco dip. The sweet trotters was my favorite, and next time will have that as my meal!I ordered meatloaf and was disappointed. Huge piece that was flavorless except for what tasted like marinara sauce smothered on top. I scraped it off but that did not do much to improve the taste. The mashed potatoes tasted like a baked potato with gravy which I really liked. Also loved the mac and cheese. The best part was pie for dessert. I had key lime and also had a bite of my friend's hillbilly pie which was a delight! We also tasted buttermilk pie and enjoyed that as well.Fun visit in an out of the way setting. Clean place and friendly service. I will be back!

This restaurant has an attitude problem. The waitresses. After several visits, and getting different waitresses, I cannot give the restaurant the "very good" rating. When you have your waitress, the one who is supposed to "take care of you", who basically huffs off when you ask for anything (to go box, or to go drink, or a refill)...well, there's a problem. And if it happened once, I'd ignore it. But 3rd visit, same thing. Food is expensive, eating out and tipping , even for breakfast, is expensive. So be nice ladies.
