This place offers basic dinner food. What sets it apart are the combination of sides that you can order with your meal. Several good plate dinners are available. All are served with warm bread that is lame. All the plate dinners are good except for the âPot Roast.â It should be called âPotted Meat.â Seriously needs to be removed from the menu! It smells of and resembles ALPO. I continue to eat at this place as it improves.

I have been meeting some old co workers here from time to time for two years. I have only eaten breakfast here and I can say it is very good. Unless they are very crowded the service is fast and always friendly. The prices are very reasonable. I know some friend who eat lunch here from time to time and they say it is just as good and reasonable.

We really liked this place. It wasnât crowded for dinner. (6 pm) apparently lunchtime is its busiest since itâs right downtown. We had a group of 10 and had GREAT service, Great prices, and great food. The milkshake my sister got looked fabulous ( see my photo) and she sure made a big deal how good it was, saying âMmmmmmâ all the time and leaning into me ( while I was trying to concentrate on all the great photos instead of looking at it longingly... I canât eat those!! Haha). Loved the photos all over the walls. And look at that word puzzle on the wall!

We decided to take a chance and drive about 15 minutes outside Lawton to eat a late breakfast here. Itâs a little string of dumpy shacks combined for a restaurant and kitchen. On first glance the building is dilapidated and junky and inside isnât much better. The inside is dirty and bathroom falling apart and grimy. Dirty dishes are placed next to tables where you eat and everything needs cleaned. At the time of our visit 3 people were working. 1 cook and 2 waitresses. It took 20 minutes to get a drink order and 30 to get them. Waitresses were bussing tables, going back to help cook, taking payments, in addition to their waitress duties. We walked in and the place was either full or had dirty dishes on empty tables. Itâs clearly a management problem. We told the waitress not to worry about the delays as it wasnât her fault. They were working hard. The only redemption here is the food is great. Biscuits are delicious and the size of a soup bowl. Pancakes were fluffy and my omelette was flavorful and cooked to perfection. We took a huge cinnamon home as well. Also great. Surprisingly few choices for breakfast in Lawton so I would still recommend this place if they donât get shut down by the inspectors.

Onion burgers were as good as advertised. Onion rings were just okay, as were the regular fries but the curly fries are well worth it! Arrive early as the place fills up for lunch. Service was very good.
