SK's was good. The decor is reminiscent of an old diner and you really take a step back in time, when you walk through their doors. We did not have a reservation and were seated right by the bathroom doors. It was Sunday around noon and our waiter was extremely busy. He maintained a cheerful attitude and was as attentive as we could have expected. My husbands Hoboken Breakfast skillet was really tasty. I ordered the patty melt, that was more like hamburger on sourdough with grilled onions and Russian dressing. It was just too much of not what my mind had set on, but still good. All in all, our meal was fine. We may go back, but probably not frequently. Just a small note: as busy as they were, there were always a couple of servers on the back stoop smoking. It seems like everything could have been a little more efficient, if the employee breaks were scheduled before and after the lunch rush.Dear guest, thanks for your feedback. We are happy that you liked our food although your sandwich was not like you expected. We will talk with our team about you criticism and hope that you will visit us again sometime! Everything was perfect during my stay but people working behind the desk at the reception could be a lutté more welcoming...
We heard about the new opening of this Chinese and Sushi combo restaurant. Done very differently from a normal buffet, for dinner the buffet contains only dessert, salad and pastry dishes. To order the real fanfare, you receive an IPad with searchable dinner choices, 100 different items. You order 10 items per 10 minute round, with each table receiving 10 rounds. You can order less, but not more than 10 items per round. We ordered Japanese, Chinese, Korean, sushi, yakitori, and more. Everything came out piping hot with the exception of the unagi don, which had warm rice and cold eel. Everything that came out fried was perfectly cooked and not too oily. We had one issue mix up: there seems to be a problem between the grilled salmon and teriyaki salmon which appeared to be the same thing. The sushi, which was our original mission, came out delicious prepared and came out with larger than normal portions. The Toro (tuna) was actually lightly fatty, of higher than normal quality and was delicious. We got half a dozen or so different rolls, and with the exception of the ebi maki (covered in mayo) were very well done and any Japanese sushi chef would have been proud. The whole of the restaurant was immaculate and the bathrooms were spotless.Dessert was a wide variety of healthy fresh fruit (I tried to eat my weight in mangos and lychees), pastries, and lots of ice cream.Price is normally 23.90 euro per person for dinner but a special is being run for 18.90 euro. We didnât go for lunch but the prices are significantly lower with an emphasis on Chinese buffet cuisine and limited sushi options.Lots of seating, tons of parking, and located near the Hauptbahnhoff Kaiserslautern.

Our lovely restaurant is located in the heart of Kaiserslautern right below the famous soccer stadium, Betzenberg. Therefore, we show all the 1.FCKaiserslautern games on TV. We have been open for over 10 years and offer both 60 seats inside and 80 seats o
This is a nice little place near the main train station in KL. The menu is limited to chicken soup, half roasted chicken, chicken breast salad, fries and cole slaw. The place is decorated with chickens on the window ledges and hanging from the wall. There is out door seating and a small dining area. You can call ahead to pu but they do not deliver. The chicken can be with 4 levels of spice from mild to "hot as hell". We usually get the chicken "sehr scharf" or very hot. The "hot as hell" is hard for us to handle and only ordered once. I am still sweating just thinking about the heat. A meal is only 8.95 euros and the huge salad with chicken breast is 8.15 euros. They have a frequent meal ticket where you order 5 or 6 and get the next meal free. This is a family oriented place where kids are given crayons and place mats to color. One of our favorite restaurants in Ktown.
