Visiting with a client in Hallandale - we decided to meet at Flashback Diner on Federal Highway. Just north of the Dade/Broward line, they're located on the west side of the street. I'd eaten already so it was just a bowl of Matzo Ball soup and cookies - to go - for me. Water as my beverage. Service was friendly and polite. Our server was training new staff - they visited the table several times inquiring where everything was okay. Other servers stopped as well. Traveling south to the keys. Needed a place off I-95 that was fast and reasonable. We all picked off the $2, 4, 6, 8 menu and were very happy. Service was friendly and fast. Just what we need for the two hour trip left. Will gladly stop here again.

Jackâs started in 1953 and retainers a complete 50âs style from furnishings to food. Coffee is excellent. Almost countless breakfast choices. Waitresses are courteous and attentive. I am giving this 5 stars for the attention to detail in the food, ambiance and service. The prices are very reasonable as well.
