Known as "The Royal City", Guelph is roughly 28 kilometres (17 mi) east of Kitchener and 100 kilometres (62 mi) west of Downtown Toronto, at the intersection of Highway 6, Highway 7 and Wellington County Road 124. It is the seat of Wellington County, but is politically independent of it.

We had heard from several friends that this is a great place for breakfast so off we went. We arrived and found parking easily and close by. The restaurant was fairly full but we quickly found a seat. The service was friendly and fast. We each had fairly standard breakfast fare like bacon and eggs and french toast. The food was properly cooked and served hot and fresh. The price was right. The restaurant was clean. Overall it was a good experience but the only real difference here is the fact that you get to see planes coming and going. Some are vintage aircraft and are fun to see.

Very simply, with the price increases, this place ceases to be good value. We were regulars, but this was probably the last time I'll be there. A country resto trying to grow up poorly. The road construction will not help business either. Service has improved a bit, but not enough to make a difference.Thank you for comments. We appreciate your past patronage, and are sorry to hear that you won't be returning. Our recent price increases are our first in 5 years of operation. We held off for as long as possible, but were forced to increase them due to rising costs of labour and supplies. We have, and will continue to have, the best quality food and portions in the area.

We went as a family recently for Sunday Brunch and were very impressed by the whole experience. We were greeted in a very friendly manner immediately and waited approximately 15 minutes for a table. Our server was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. We all ordered from the breakfast menu and everything was excellent. The home fried potatoes were cooked as they should be on a flat-top grill. Hollandaise sauce was very good. We will definitely return.

Saturday morning before 11:00 am, the place is jammed with young, old and kids. A cacophony of sound fills the air. Our server was friendly, polite and very effective. Within 10 minutes our breakfasts arrived which was a surprise being as busy as it was.Food was hot as ordered,no issues as to the items served.

My battered fish was dry and the fries were bland and unappetizing...the coleslaw was the best part of my meal. My husband's burger was just ok. Our server was average. Restaurant wasn't the cleanest. And some sketchy clientele seem to frequent this location.
