Good cheap breakfast. We enjoyed our pancakes and eggs. The sausage and gravy over biscuits is made with spicy Italian sausage, a bit odd. The bacon was not crispy like we asked for, it was hardly cooked actually. It may be because the server could not hear us. Iâm not kidding, I had trouble talking to the kids across the table, it was so loud in there. And there were only 4 tables of people in our dining room. The acoustics are just terrible for some reason. So if you are looking for a breakfast spot to enjoy a quiet meal with friends, probably not your best option.

I have never gotten anything here that wasn't delicious. Lake Varsity Diner has the best fish sandwiches around. The staff is great, too!

Normally I don't get into politics. First I will comment on the food. We ordered their large breakfast which was reasonably priced for the amount of food. Eggs, hash browns, bacon, toast, waffle, and juice for under $9.00. The food was hot and quick. The second part is the American flag shown on the front door and then a sign basically saying leave your second amendments rights outside. If you look up crimes at waffle houses there are a lot caused by illegal gun owners. Maybe they should stop telling criminals that we won't defend ourselves....JMHO
