We stopped here for lunch while passing through town. The food was outstanding and the staff friendly. We had to wait quite a while to order, as the lone waitress was very busy. The pancakes were great and the portobello mushroom wrap delicious. We also had the tomato soup (soup of the day) which was also good. Apparently theyâre going to be moving soon to a new location down the street, which will be better. The unisex bathroom in the basement is less than adequate and needed cleaning and fixing up. Except for that and the slow service, I would have given 5 stars.

I found this spot on my way to the Glens Falls Civic Center for March (High School) Madness basketball..It seemed I was the only stranger in the place but the waitress was excellent..She made me feel at home. I enjoyed a very good breakfast and good coffee on a Saturday morning.

Clean and bright near the entrance to West Mountain. Reasonable portions of Boar's Head meat for lunch sandwich with fries or chips. Pleasant and quick service. They serve coke and not pepsi which makes it great it my eyes. A little off the beaten path but worth a try and a definite if you are headed to the slopes.

We have been going to Ambrosia for years, almost since they opened whenever we are in the area. Breakfast and Lunches mostly but occasional dinners. They have a wide variety of choices for meals and in addition to daily specials have specials for lunch hours. These specials include soup/salad, entrée and selected dessert for one price. Our lunch today was very good. My associate had a BLT salad and I a Greek Salad with gyro meat included. Both were lunch size and were more than enough for our appitite. Both were made and not dumped as in starting with a base of greens, layered with accompaniments (as in cucumber, tomato, feta cheese etc) and topped with meat. Extra dressing was no problem. Both salads were made fresh and on the spot. One should save room for dessert for in addtion to standard dessert they have a wide selection of bakery goods including canoli's. In my mind, each bakery good was enough to share between two individuals. Staff is very friendly and effecient. Note for Veterans: They offer a military discount of 10%, bring your id card and let them know. In addition there is a sign about military (and I think first responders) at the entrance door. While in the Glen's Falls area, they remain our number 1 place to go to for meals.
We went first for dinner when the diner first opened and it was very good. Went back for lunch and the cook forgot the ingredients on the sandwich. Went back for breakfast...had reservations for 10 and the staff wasn't prepared. Reviews by my guests weren't the best. Sunday went for breakfast, just the 2 of us. Husband wasn't happy with the sausage...tasted reheated. Also ordered a short stack of pancakes and they were tough! Couldn't cut them with a butter knife. I ordered an omelet and rye toast. The omelet was ok and the homefries were average. Imagine my surprise when I found a $1.10 charge for my toast...toast doesn't come with omelets. I must say the service is good but we haven't seen the same waitress twice. It will definitely be a long time before we return as there is another diner around the corner which is excellent!

We were vacationing in the area and read reviews about Steve's on TA so we thought we would have breakfast here one morning. The sign inside the door says seat yourself. There was only one table available so we did so and the waitress showed up in a short amount of time to get us coffees. The establishment was busy as it was a Sunday Morning. Our coffees came and we placed our orders. I was excited to find on this day biscuits and gravy were on the menu and they did not disappoint. My wife had an omelette which she enjoyed, but was disappointed with the home fries. The home fries tasted like boiled potatoes that hardly ever hit the grill. Ample parking in their parking lot. Pleasant and prompt service. We hope when we return that the potatoes are better.

We stumbled on that this delightful diner while bicycling from Glens Falls. It just so happened that we followed just behind a couple of gents on their way in for lunch whom we struck up a conversation with. It is clear that this is a favorite place for locals. That said, we were treated just as if we were locals ourselves. The food is very reasonably priced and there are daily lunch specials. The special for the day we were there was chicken and biscuits with mashed potatoes, which we supply split with ample helpings for both. For dessert we shared a delicious piece of coconut cream pie. The entire bill, which included ice tea, was just over $15. The ambiance is funky yet friendly. We even gained some interesting American history lessons over lunch. All in all, a terrific lunch experience!

At Exit 16 off of Rt 87N is this family owned diner with ample servings of delicious food! The roast beef sandwich was tasty on soft seeded ryebread. The turkey club was thick and enough for two! Fries are made fresh and are lightly browed & crispy. The coffee kept flowing! Great fast stop on your trip to the Adirondack Mountain region of NY
