It was great to walk into a soda fountain bar that had soda jerks (no offense)in white uniforms and caps and waitresses in poodle skirts to bring back fond memories of the past. The food is good comfort food that is affordable and plentiful. Fun times.

Great curb appeal and easy parking. Typical seat yourself at tables or lunch counter.Dad and I stopped in for lunch on a Thursday, about 1230p. After waiting for a table to be cleaned, waiting longer still for menus, our lunch was disappointing. His BLT small and dry. My gyro- wasn't. Triangles of some unknown flat bread and lamb that was beyond dry. My side greek salad was fresh and tasty.It's hard to fail with these two options. We won't be back.

We came here for a late night meal since they are open 24 hours. The food was typical Waffle House fare at a decent price. Our waitress was not very friendly or attentive; however I was grateful to find hot food at a late hour in this area.

I have been eating at Wards for a little over 2 years. Worked at another eatery in Saluda but Wards is my go to for breakfast. Awesome! Great lunch items also, especially the Chicken Salad! The atmosphere makes me feel at home and the entire staff is Friendly and wonderful.Thank you for your kind remarks about our food and staff. The Dixie Diner is a neighborhood Mom and Pop type place open for breakfast and lunch. Good food, friendly service, and very reasonable prices. The menu is pretty extensive and has almost everything you'll want (except hot dogs). Right on Rt. 64 with parking right out front and in the rear. Small but not with a crowded feeling. My wife said the coffee is excellent. What's not to like?
