Johnny Rockets brags about serving the classical american hamburger, but come on. This is by far the worst burger ever - a bit of minced meat covered with a slice of dry cheese between two cold buns. Served without any finesse on a cold plate - this was a major disappointment. The service was friendly, but the food needs to be good as well, and this was just terrible.

I went to this diner in April 2018. My group consisted of more than ten people. The service was very prompt. The food came out in a timely fashion. And the atmosphere was very pleasant. I had a spicy steak salad. The seasoned steak reminded me of my time in Greece. I highly recommend this diner and that salad.

We visited this little diner twice in a busy industrial neighborhood just outside EWR while waiting for friends to arrive from out of town. It's nothin' to look at, but it's friendly and reasonably priced and if you pick your way around the menu you can find some gems. LIKE THE REUBEN. The place is run by Greeks and the menu offers hints of that in the daily specials. Also try the "handmade" burger -- this is a diner, remember, and so frozen burger patties are cooked on the grill. But the handmade version is fresh, and it is so worth the extra $1.25 or so. The diner is clean and the service is very friendly. Just outside is a big intersection at which the trucks and vans and limos that service the airport whizz to and fro on their errands. Seaport is a GREAT little place to while away the time while waiting for a flight. Maybe next time I'm driving up to NYC I'll pull off just to stop in, even if Im not going to the airport, what the heck.

Newark International Airport
Will waiting out a typical delay, we opted to try the Garden State Diner. Though busy, we were seated quickly and service just as fast. Nice menu, some unique options. Ordered a Rachel ( hot pastrami sandwich) which was very good. Fries were cooked well and had a little spice to them. Our other choice was a speciality burger which didn't disappoint either. Prices were what one would expect for any airport. Slightly higher but our options were served hot and were tasty. Relax, have a set and pass the time at the Diner.
