A delicious dinner outdoors next to the orchard - a peaceful ambience in a country setting - an easy drive (less than 10 miles) if you are staying in Passau. The Schatzlhof raises deer and their dinner menu reflect the old-fashioned way of cooking Bavarian specialties of game but also other familiar selections of pork, beef and fish. We have been there several times and have not ever been disappointed. This is rural lower Bavaria at its most satisfying.

Auf der Durchreise durch Zufall hier eingekehrt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend Bedient und das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Qualität war sehr gut.

In meiner Kindheit ging man "nur" zum Eisessen ins Roma.Heute kann man dort hervorragend Essen.Die Pizzen sind sehr, sehr lecker und stets frisch! Ich liiiiiiiebe den Salat mit Meeresfrüchten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht.Durch das Ambiente fühlt man sich immer ein wenig, als wäre man im Urlaub.Einzig die Toiletten sind abschreckend :-(

Vi boede på hotellet 5 dage med halvpension. Der er en behagelig atmosfære, værelset var særdeles rummelig. Såvel værelse som restaurant er nyistandsatte og nydelige. Alt er særdeles pænt og i allerbedste orden. Ville gerne bo der igen.

Natural placed, with a wonderfull view over the Eginger Lake - The Seeufer has a sunny terrace and a big beergarden. And also about 90 places in the guestroom. We are cooking bavarian and also international freshly made dishes.

My family has been this place for a couple of times for food and drink. They have a kiosk for the swimming pool and the restaurant. I'm not very surprised the kiosk is unfriendly because they want to keep the business in the restaurant, but it surprised me the restaurant even minded a child's diaper in their toilet! My daughter had a bit diarrhea after swimming today, so I wanted to change after she finished her dinner. Suddenly an old woman (might be the owner) came in and said "wow that stinks", alright, I decided to take her to change right away. After we were out of the toilet, she dared to come to me and ask where I left the diaper, I said of course in the trash bag. She stares at me like I was a freak and told me to dig it out from the trash bag and throw it out somewhere out of the restaurant! Well, I did go back and when I was about to get out, she was waiting for me at the door and holding a plastic bag. It's like she was very worried that I would not take out the diaper! Unbelievable! It was already 8:10pm! Don't you clean your toilet after your restaurant has been running for a whole day?! Oh, maybe not, because you're so busy to kelp your business!!! Now I write it in English because I want everybody to know the service of the place, no only Germans! And God bless the old woman never getting any grandchildren ever!
