There is a lovely alfresco area just by the side road. The menu here is very extensive and the food is excellent. Go for the local roastbratten with spetzler, it's wonderful.Hi Gary. Thank you very much for this feedback. It was a nice evening with all of you. Maybe there is a change to visit us again. Than we try the other swabian dishes :)

A colleague saw their sign that they have a beer garden and we decided to give it a try. Small but lovely garden terrace, just a few steps from the pedestrian area between Lindenplatz and Rathausplatz. We think it was the owners themselves who were serving, they were absolutely lovely. They serve Swabian specialties and the dishes all have funny Swabian names. The food was very very good. Most of the dishes we ordered came with a small mixed salad which included obviously homemade potato salad (Iâm generally not a fan and only eat my mumâs as she makes it with vegetable stock and not mayonnaise and serves it slightly warm) that was nearly as good as my mumâs. We had different types of Spätzle (Swabian pasta speciality), baked with cheese or served with creamy mushroom sauce, but also Schnitzel (thin but not dry with very nice crispy breading).Prices are more than reasonable.We will definitely be back and I already recommended to friends and family for lunch on their shopping trips to Outletcity Metzingen.
