We went to this diner as it was recommended highly by an acquaintance. Upon our 10am approach, there were dozens upon dozens of people waiting outside. They must have been waiting for larger tables, however, as we were seated immediately in a booth for 4. Our waitress arrived promptly and took our drink orders. An orange juice was included with my husbandâs breakfast but he never got it. Our daughterâs banana nut crepe consisted of about 4 banana slices on the plate and nothing but walnuts inside the crepes . She was disappointed and I also felt they could have done better with preparation and presentation of this dish. I ordered French toast and sausage which was good. Basic, but good and plentiful. Noise level was acceptable. We were able to converse and dine without disruptive noise around us. We would dine here again, maybe just not on a holiday where the kitchen staff was probably overwhelmed as was the waitress who forgot our orange juice.

Just okay. I would definitely eat breakfast here but lunch and dinner I would eat somewhere else. It's obvious that the food is frozen not fresh. My son had boneless buffalo wings and the sauce wasn't good. My other son had the French dip and he said it was just okay. When I spend my money I want better than okay.

We have been going to the Piston Diner for meals since they opened under the new ownership. Regardless of whether you are visiting for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you will find a menu that offers traditional diner selections as well as daily specials. The specials are excellent and change daily. The service and quality of the food far surpasses that of other diners in the area. If you are in the area, definitely give the Piston Diner a try!! Weâve eaten here four or five times when traveling to Atlantic City. The Got Clubbed club sandwich is awesome as is the cheesesteak sandwich. Breakfasts are good, coffee is good. My husband ordered the lasagna and we were disappointed. It was a small casserole dish with ground beef, cheeses, and A FEW pasta noodles cut up and added into it. There were no layers of lasagna pasta. Very different from any lasagna that Iâve eaten in my years . Nevertheless, most dishes are worthy of good comments. The soups are on the mark. Love, live, laugh, eat, drink, and have fun as that is what life is all about !

We were head north on the Turnpike and it was lunch time so I was looking for a good place to eat. This restaurant is probably less than a mile off Exit 3 of the turnpike, straight down the road, so it's easy to find and doesn't require a detour. The value is amazing, but just as important, the service was great and the food was really good. My husband had the soup of the day (vegetable) and a tuna salad that he loved. I had the meatloaf platter. The food came out quickly and the portions were ample. The meatloaf came with sides, salad, drink AND dessert for something like $10. Everything was really good. The salad dressing was homemade and so was the rice pudding. The waitress was helpful, cheerful and attentive. This is NOT a fancy place, It was full of locals and the food is down to earth, typical diner, comfort food, but diner food done very well. The Club Diner is our new go-to lunch stop on our travels up and down the east coast.

Took 4 people in for a Saturday dinner. Seating was prompt and server was attentive and efficient. Ribs were tender and tasty. Flounder was not over cooked and seasoned well. Pork loin was tender and delicious. Moussaka was really excellent, as good as I have ever had. Salads were fresh and crisp. Soup was very tasty. Portions are very generous which meant boxing dessert up for later. Definitely worth a visit.

So we kept hearing about this place from our daughter who has friends in the area. Since we were going to be "down that way" we decided to stop in for brunch. The Diner is easy to spot from the road and has ample parking. We were seated promptly with no waiting, but that's not to say that the Diner wasn't busy! There are tables and booths which can accommodate large and small parties. The servers are diner veterans...they know just that right questions to ask to make ordering a breeze. Very friendly, too! Hubby had a yummy omelet while I opted for a delicious chicken sandwich which was so large that I could only eat half. (It reheated nicely for lunch later in the week) The coffee was delicious and our server was ever ready with the refills! This place is a gem!
