After leaving another restaurant because we could not get served, we ended up here. Greeted as we walked in the door. Fast friendly service and good food. Our server was cheerful even though I heard her tell someone she had been there for 15 hours. Only issue was that the hand dryer was broken in the restroom.

This little restaurant is not the same thing as Vandever Corner Grocery. It may be in the same location but it is entirely different. One is a grocery and opened nearly all the time and the other is a restaurant opened only four days a week. Sure you have to walk through one to get to the other but different services are offered, different items served and it definitely needs to be reviewed separately. This restaurant is not one folks will find on a main freeway or main drag. It's off the main road and on back country roads known to the locals. With them it's a very popular place to visit. From Thursday through Sunday the place is packed with locals wanting great home cooked food. We actually visited twice in two days. The first was for the catfish on Friday and the second was on Saturday for the hot roast beef sandwiches. Every day are different specials and the price is usually around $5.95 for it. You won't find much here that's packaged. It's homemade and it's delicious. Prices are cheap, cheap, cheap. The servers are excellent. They run like crazy making sure all their customers get great service. It's a family run restaurant and they work efficiently together. Servers are very pleasant and food was fast and excellent. We had no complaints for this place and only compliments.

Delicious and very reasonably priced breakfast with grits and butter! It's an old converted drive-in and, honestly, I would never have given this place a second passing glance. My cousin (whom we were visiting) brought us here our first morning in the area and we couldn't have been more pleased. The staff is lovely and fun. We were there on Halloween and the staff was dressed in costume.

I wanted to like Sisters. The ladies were friendly, the menu sounded like good old fashioned food. The building is old and needs some sprucing up, but if the food was great, you could overlook that. It just wasn't though. Everything tasted pre-packaged, overdone and institutional, not home cooking as others have commented. Would not go back.

Breakfast - country style! Super staff, fast service, ample portions, and good value. My husband had chipped beef gravy over biscuits, not something you often see on a menu. He said it made him feel like he was âback on the farmâ. I had a traditional breakfast, eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. Made me feel - very full! We saw a âspecialsâ board that said âcornbread saladâ - neither of us had heard of that. A staff member explained but Iâm keeping that as a surprise so youâll have to ask about it if you go there. They also serve lunch and dinner, and have daily specials. Itâs not a large restaurant but you sure feel at home.

Kali's is a family owned and operated homecooking restaurant, great food at great prices. Open Mon-Fri 6am-2pm, Sat 6am-2pm. Description: Breakfast served all day. The "Big Breakfast" is a great value - 2 eggs with ham, bacon or sausage, home fries or has
My friend and I stopped in here for lunch on our travels to Sweetwater, Tenn. Nice little place, good service and nice staff! I had the BBQ sandwich with fries that I wasn't over the moon about. It just didn't taste like a real BBQ sandwich. Kind of looked like it was mushed all together with very little flavor. I can't remember what my friend had, but I remember him saying it was good. I suppose maybe I should have had something else.
