I have come Here on and off for years. I would say 2 things hold this place back from a 5 star review:1. Huge wait staff turnover. They only have about 3 long term employees. It seems to have less of a comfortable feel because of it. In years past 1/2 the staff had been there 5 years or more.2. Cash only??? The place is too small already and they could have 1 more booth where the ATM is hogging space. In this day and age making your customers pay an ATM fee rather than run a card reader is ancient thinking. On a busy day when people walk out because it's full that extra booth would bring in HUNDREDS extra daily...

We aim to do one thing at Johnny's Big Burger. That's to make the best burgers and fries in town. We were established in 1965, which was a totally different era. People took pride in their work and they worked hard with honor for what they earned. Things
Johnny's has been serving good food at a good price since 1965. It is no longer open 24 hours per day, but it's still open from early morning to late evening.During lunch and dinner, this place is over-crowded with workers from businesses in the area and college students.Cheeseburgers are the most popular menu item. Bun & Cream is the desert specialty -- which you must have one or you've never really eaten at Johnny's.
Where to eat Asian food in Clarksville: The Best Restaurants and Bars

While the staff was phenomenal (helpful and friendly), the food was really just okay. We ordered loaded hash browns, 2 chicken tenders, and the big breakfast that had biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, and pancakes. It was comparable to waffle house with better prices. But the food itself was pretty generic. There were tons of flies inside too. It's a pretty rundown building but seems like a lot of regulars come there to catch up. Not sure we will go back.

Because we don't have very many where I'm from. I ate here everyday of my trip to Clarksville - Ft Campbell. I honestly think they have the best patty sausage in America. And the bacon is crisp overtime. Hashbrowns? oh my gosh. I'd marry the cook but he was a mutt......
