Excellent service was provided by Jimmy. He anticipated our needs and exceeded them. Our drinks were always filled and he assured our food was prepared just the way we liked it. Portions were huge, fresh and delicious. Crunchy pickles, delicious macaroni salad and cold refreshing coleslaw was presented by Jimmy prior to our meal; oh my, so so scrumptious. I had to be careful not to fill up prior to my yummy tuna melt.

Terrible service. Ordered coffee, it never was served but we were charged for it. The pastrami sandwich, which we intended to share was served open face. I was very disappointed and will not return.Too bad.

The Laurel Diner is clean, bright, and attractive inside. Our server was very nice and accommodating. The portions are large. My mother and I shared an appetizer size Spanikopita (Spinach pie) and a Greek salad (The Greek salad on the menu, under salads, comes with stuffed Grape Leaves; whereas the Greek Salad which comes with the Spanikopita entree does not. We were told that the actual Spanikopita is the same size, whether you get the appetizer or entree. I found this Spanikopita to be a little more greasy, but less salty than others I've had elsewhere. The salad was decent, with big chunks of feta. I wouldn't rush back.
