While visiting Ashville, I wanted a pimento cheeseburger. Upon reading all the reviews, we decided on this place. It did not disappoint!! They make their own pimento cheese, best I've ever tasted! Place is no frills, bus your own table. Highly recommend!

We ate at the Waffle House on a Sunday morning in November. It was busy but we were seated quickly. Our server was a cheerful woman from Leicester who attended to our needs with a smile and friendly banter. The food arrived quickly and was good and hot. We enjoyed our meal very much and regret that, in the past we have made snide jokes about eating at the Waffle House. It's really a nice restaurant and it doesn't cost a fortune.

We were traveling from the mountains back to Charlotte and stopped in here for lunch. We had to wait a few minutes for a table but it was worth it. Good home-cooked food and quick service. I had a chicken salad sandwich and my husband had the Philly cheese steak. Both came with fries. Everything was good but the fries were nice and crispy, delicious! I'd recommend a stop here if you are in the area.

I'd been wanting to try this local restaurant, and so I stopped in for breakfast the other morning. Look, I'm not a negative person. I always try to find the positive in any situation. And I'm at a loss for words. The service was on the unfriendly side, the food was mediocre to poor, and the seating was uncomfortable. Okay, here's one positive - it's easy to park here. :)

So this restaurant sits in the center of an abandoned motel. It is easy to pass it up, but I urge you to visit. It is definately not a place with an ambiance of a fine dining establishment, but ambiance don't fill your belly. This is definately a local favorite, and for good reason. Good food at good price is always a winning combination.Food was great and plentiful. It is the kind of meal you would make for yourself. We had breakfast here, it was served hot and quick. Waitstaff was friendly and efficient.Eggs cooked as you like them, I had a ham & cheese omlette. Lots of both inside.Hash browns were as I like them; crispy outside and tender inside. Served with their white pepper gravy. Good eating.I would definately go back again and again.
