Read reviews, thought I would try it. Worst gravy,(some sort of flour mixture) soggy fries. Liver the thinnest piece I ever did see!!! But that's okay because it wasn't good anyway. Dried out vegetables. Mashed potatoes were soooooo dry they would just crumble. Western sandwich was good. Place was nice and comfortable.

No pretensions here â just a commitment to offer good, reasonably priced diner food to customers. The diner tradition is a big thing in the U.S., far less so in Canada. but Angel's meets the requirement with inexpensive, attractively presented meals. On my list visit I tried the liver and bacon, for me one of the litmus tests for a diner, and it definitely made the grade. As for the dessert menu â well I warmly recommend the brandy cheesecake

We stopped here last Saturday while on a group ride with our motorcycle group. This place is small but they squeezed us in (11 people) and the service was great and the food even greater. I had the club sandwich that was made with real turkey not processed great fries and homemade gravy.

Went to Tony's for a quick bite before an appointment. We have eaten here before and the quality of food has been excellent. This time to speed things up we decided to have soup ( I was going to have fried mushrooms but thought it would take longer than we wanted). The service was very poor. We seated ourselves and someone brought a menu for us and took a drink order. The place only had 5 other people in it so service should have been quick. It wasn't took 15 minutes from the time we were ready to order. We ordered soup. Soup is usually already made up and just kept warm, so it should be very simple to put it into a bowl and serve it yet it took 30 minutes to get our order. There seems to be a breakdown between service and the cook as the soup was very good, but the service even on a good day takes a long time. So if you want a quick lunch or meal not a good idea to go here

Weâve been coming here for years because itâs been consistently good with large portions and reasonable prices. On this occasion, we had been at the theatre with our grand children. We asked a lot of questions and our waitress seemed quite unsure but together we worked through it. She was quite pleasant and seemed very pleased with her tip!One teen wanted to substitute shrimp for chicken in a carbonara dish and wanted some items omitted. There was an up charge but the kitchen handled the requests beautifully! We had one order from the childâs menu. She was not offered dessert as in the past.In honour of Octoberfest, one special was pork schnitzel with red cabbage and choice of carb. It came with a tasty garlicky die Caesar. The waitress had no idea what spaetzl was so we decided on a loaded baked potato which is a poor substitute for a German dish! The pork was tender enough but the breading could have been much better and it was swimming in gravy.I ordered a 10â all dressed pizza- lots of flavour, lots of cheese but the crust is so thick, itâs difficult to get it cooked through. I would like a thin crust option! The portions are so big that we all had some to take home.

Funkadeelish burger joint in Cambridge Ontario
Firstly, this is an expensive place, but a cool concept - you get in there and can fully customize your burger. Sadly, I think that is where the coolness ends. It is a pricey place, and while the bun was good, the actual quality of the meat was not great. There was no flavor in the meat in my opinion, and it was way overcooked. The toppings did not seem super fresh either. The fries that came with it were overcooked and a bit cold... all in all, I was not a fan of this place, and it is unlikely that I would return.
