Both myself and my wife did not care for our meals. Soups also lacked flavor. Two grandkids chicken fingers and grilled cheese along with fries were OK. Both our desserts chocolate cake and vanilla /rice pudding were also poor and thus did not finish.Good location for visiting grandkids but unfortunately we will not return
Great old school diner/dinette atmosphere with very reasonable prices food and good selection. Food is good, too!

The sculptures around the building, the crass interior design make this establishment kind of unique. As is the view of Manhattan skyline. Large portions, a little overpriced, very good service. And a full bar, what else could one ask for.
Where to eat Italian food in Caldwell: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I have been going to thee Verona Diner since I was a kid in the 80's and it always had good food and nice staff and customers. I know it changed hands and the owner kept the same look which I am in favor. I like when places keep the old look to keep us reminiscent of our past. However, I have recently went back after about a year. Wow! The new owners have remodeled the entire place and what a great job they did. What a clean crisp feeling as soon as you walk in. New floors, walls, light fixtures, tile and I haven't gotten to the food yet! Very nice relaxing vibe to accommodate the modern clipboard style menu. Waitress was very friendly and energetic. She was welcoming and was accommodating to our needs. Now onto the food. I know people can get breakfast anywhere but this place has definitely stepped up their game. I had a Taylor ham and cheese omelette that was delicious. A big portion of eggs and cheese to compliment the hash browns and toast.(I think the hash browns need some onions and they will be on point) but that me. My grandfather ordered a short stack with bacon that probably could have fed us both. The pancakes were excellent and the bacon was crisp and delicious. Coffee was good and hot and the entire vibe of the new look and great food made my whole morning. Keep up the good work, I will be back soon. Enjoy.
