Away from the beach, so requires a walk through the village (with the approach being pitch black at night), and oddly, when I went, I was the only guest, but the staff were amazingly welcoming and friendly, and the food was great. The starter I had of vegetable tempura was really well cooked and actually a large enough portion for two.Octopus for a main course was tender and flavoursome.Make sure you ask them for some of their fresh chilli mixed with oil to make a dipping sauce - It blows your head off but is delicious and addictive (and washed down with a cold beer, the perfect thing to have with dinner).

We walked on the beach from Paje to Jambiani and we stopped to have lunch at Mango Beach Restaurant. Meal was delicious and cheap. The owner told us that there was another restaurant in Paje, Kiddoâs Rooftop so because we had a good experience we decided to go next day for lunch. Again, correctly price, cheaper than other restaurants of the area and really good food and staff. I highly recommend both restaurants if you are in that area of ZanzÃbar.

We have already eaten at Fadhilâs twice in our short stay in Jambiani-the food is that good! Everything is freshly prepared and very tasty. I would highly recommend the king prawns and the coconut crusted fish-both incredible. Our free dessert tonight was fluffy mini donuts in a light citrus and cinnamon syrup-delicious! The restaurant setting is simple but the experience is first class!

Great place with a breath taking Sea view, fresh and comfortable terrace. Great variety of tasty food all done with a local touch. Service always attentive and smily making sure you have everything you need. We went for lunch but because the friendly ambient in the place and his easy access to a dream beach we stayed there all afternoon drinking cold beers and great cocktails. A gem in middle of paradise. They also make concerts once a week with amazing skill lokal musicians We were so lucky to find out about it that afternoon and we didn't doubt to come back and enjoy one of the most authentic and wild night in our trip......Thanks guys !
