Most recently there for dinner: meat loaf, mashed potatoes, and gravy. Dinner comes with salad bar. Pies are really good for desert. Good food, reasonable prices, tlc service.Probably best known for breakfast. Lunches are good too - also come with salad bar.

Looked up reviews for breakfast in Brainard. This treasure had great reviews, and we were going to be in Brainard to drop our daughter at the airport. Win win, right? We were delighted with everything, food, atmosphere, and especially the friendly service. We'd go back just for breakfast without needing the airport.

I often forget about Northwind Grille and I don't know why! It is definitely a restaurant that has it's regulars but the waitresses are still so friendly! Very comforting homemade food, you get a lot for what you pay for too!

Driving home on 371 saw this diner across from Mills Fleet Farm and Auto Dealership. To me it looks like a classic Denny's building. We were seated immediately and service was tops. The food was excellent but oh so much. So much interesting décor--all military logo's' sporting signs even a James Dean ticket! And alongside a happy stop the price was right. You will leave with a smile and laughter

We stopped in for breakfast after we found The Barn closed. We weren't disappointed. Cafe style restaurant. I had the eggs and smokies. and my wife had the loaded hash browns. Both were excellant!

Popped in after church. We got in before the rush. Looks like 40-44 is the max capacity. Always busy. Famous for the Maid-rite, The Barn has been around a long, long time. They are just open for breakfast and lunch (and homemade pies!) There is a reason there is often a waiting line. Delicious food, low prices! Yum!
