Joe's Diner

And that’s good because I could eat Joe’s breakfast all day long. This place can get a little crowded when the Tech students are back but this is classic diner food. Staff are super nice and attentive. Love the eggs, hashbrowns, and sausage patties plus pancakes and waffles. The coffee needs to be a bit stronger but the rest of the program works fine. Real homey welcoming feel. Looking forward to our next meal at Joe’s!

Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Located on the site of the old Holiday Inn at the corner of Prices Fork and University. I feel bad for the poor soul who bought into this franchise. There are many different juice and smoothie drinks, all loaded with sugar. However, if you ask, they will make them without sugar. It's a shame you have to ask, and not the other way around. Add supplements and flavors for an extra chargeOur smoothies are made with turbinado, a sugar similar to sugar in the raw. It is not processed like regular sugar. Food that is processed is not nearly as good for you as food that is natural and in its original state. We make our smoothies to order and are glad to change them to suit each individual's desires. As the owner of two Tropical Smoothie stores, I have never been happier with my place in life or my partnership with one of the fatest growing restaurant chains in the nation.
