Stopped here after work looking for a meal. I saw things that were good looking such as the breakfast is being served. The homemade pies. But my meal was not the best in the world pork and sauerkraut. But my pie was great. And my service was decent. I'd go back but I'll have something different.

We have never got a bad meal here. They have many choices on the menu at reasonable prices. The breakfasts are all good and really priced low. The pies are from Oliver's Pies in Wheeling , WV and are very good. The Hot Roast Beef and Hot Turkey sanwiches are very good and the hand-cut fries are delicious.

I have dined there twice during lunch. The first time, there was no one else dining there and our party of 5 took over 1/2 hour to receive our food. My Mushroom CheeseSteak hoagie was truly tasty, done just right; however, the slowness of the service was inexcusable given the fact no one else was in the restaurant. Three of us tried again yesterday, this time calling ahead with our order. We met 3 friends who arrived 15 minutes before us and placed their order when they arrived. Again, we were the only ones in the restaurant (although there may have been someone out on the balcony). Our called-in orders came within 7-10 minutes of our arrival. Our 3 friends however had to wait over 40 minutes for food they ordered 15 minutes prior to our arrival! I had again ordered a Mushroom cheesesteak hoagie and added fries this time. Again, my Mushroom cheesesteak hoagie was great. Never did get the fries because they completely forgot about them. The food is great and deserves 5 stars. The service is absolutely miserable and deserves a 1. Hope they get this figured out soon because the food really is that good.
