A place I walked by many times on my previous visits to the city. I am glad we stopped in on this trip. It is a small place with great food, reasonable prices, fantastic service and a wonderful vibe. You step back in time to the 1950's with the music and decor. We were greeted by our server Jason P. He was fantastic. He provided good recommendations and outstanding service. We never had to ask for our water to be refilled, he was spot on. We had the debris fries on his suggestion. They were OUTSANDING!!!!! Lots of meat, deep flavorful gravy and plenty of cheese. It was enough for a meal and then some. The po boys were fantastic as were the burgers. Word of warning, the burgers came with 2 patties. This is a lot of food. Had I know the size of the burger, I might have ordered something else. You won't go wrong with a visit here.

Stopped in here for a quick lunch. Ordered a turkey Po'boy...it was a great sandwich!! It's an older style diner with an old fashioned cash register to accentuate its charm. They offer a wide variety of menu items to please. This place is busy for a reason.

Dined at the other Ruby Slipper on Magazine Street on our last visit and really liked it. This location was not good for several reasons. Food just ok, service not great, took forever for our drinks to be served (like think 20 + minutes). Would not recommend or go back. Very disappointed.Hi, Kathy. Thank you for your honest feedback. I am sorry to hear that this experience was seemingly not up to par. I hope that you consider giving us another chance so that we can really WOW you next time!
