Let's say that in this restaurant food is an accompaniment for wine, rather than the other way round.The dishes we had were perfectly acceptable, simple traditional cuisine executed correctly. A stuffed cockerel, a pasta with ricotta, white asparagi with 'Bozen sauce', beef cheek with polenta, apple cake, chocolate torte...But their cellar, oh, their cellar is on a different level. You can find essentially all the best wines of the region (and more), both bubblies (trentodoc) and regular wines. They have ALL the vintages of San Leonardo, one of the best Bordeaux style Italian wines. And at very reasonable prices.Prices for food were also very reasonable. Service was very, very pleasant. Tried their onion soup and focaccia with speck, and Puzzone di Moena cheese. The onion soup - lot of room for improvement. The other vegetables soups all had beans so I could choose only this one. The focaccia was really good. I enjoyed the wine Ballestarius, and the Sacher desert was tasty. Very very kind staff, and good service.I'd return to this place.

We were just looking for a quiet restaurant after a skiing day, but Sottovoce proved to be the best restaurant we tried during this trip. All round very good food. From pizza to a thin fillet steak in lemon sauce, milanesa and local dumplings everything was very well cooked, well presented and with generous portions. Selecting or changing the side dishes was offered at no extra cost, and at the end of the meal we were offered limoncello. All this with very friendly and helpful waiters and an excellent service. A very pleasant surprise and an excellent meal. We will be back.
