Our story began in 1972 when two Cousins, Bill Specht and Jim Sheppard, set out to bring their favorite style of sub sandwich from the East Coast to their new hometown of Milwaukee, Wis. Staying true to our foundersâ legacy of Better Bread. Better Subs.,
I go there often the sandwiches are consistently good,. They have a drive thru which is a big plus, They are a much healthier option than our other choice., Burger King. Haven't had a bad sandwich in the 6 years I've been going there. Always pleasant. staff.
I stop here weekly for lunch. The restaurant is very clean. The food is very fresh. Jason, Jennifer and team are outstanding! They are friendly and prep the order quickly.
Cabelas offers Deli wraps with Elk, Wild Boar, Ostrich, Buffalo, Beef &Turkey. They also offer grilled burgers, pizzas, and brunches. Our favorite is the elk wrap with choices of cheeses, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and an assortment of mustards and mayonnaises, with side orders of onion rings, fries, snacks, and an assortment of soft drinks. The dining area overlooks the immense store below, the taxidermy mountain with dozens of full body mounts. You are seated below a plane like those which would be used to provide access to wilderness hunting and fishing trips, and surrounded by full wall murals of outdoor settings. Cabelas provides great food in a perfect setting for everyone who enjoys the outdoors.

I love subway subs, but this was the most awkward visit ever. Started to order my subs and was told they were out of Italian bread. Not what I wanted, but ok. Different bread it is. It was obvious that one of the two guys (Cody and Matt I think) was being trained. Got it. But the one guy (Cody) kept talking about how much country music now a Days sucks (thatâs what was on the radio and what another customer was singing along to) except two people. Then he went to go on and call his cousin (who he claimed was an American Idol 3rd place finalist) a tool and talk smack about him. Danny whatever from wi. Heâd ask the next people in line what they wanted next (vegs etc) and while they were answering him he would walk away to the trainee working with me and look at something and then go back and ask again. I think they had to answer the same question 2-3 times. An online order came in and they were finishing up, but when this Cody guy needed a signature for the order he just looked at the lady and kept saying âhey. Hey. I need your signature.â Iâm guessing there is probably a name on the online order. He easily could have looked at that and called her that way. Or âexcuse me miss/maâamâ. Then there were complaints about how fast sauces come out of the bottles and how customers are mean and yell at him for putting too much sauce on when he canât control it. Then, he found a bunch of Italian bread he claimed they were out of. By that point, the whole process had taken too long and I was just going to deal with what I had. And by the eye rolls and faces they were making...the people behind me were just as annoyed with him as I was.I will say that my sub tasted good, but I will probably avoid this Subway in the future. Having to listen to a kid do nothing but complain and rip on people and ask me the same questions over and over because he didnât listen the first time is not something I want to experience again. I get it enough at home with my own children. Customer service definitely needs to be majorly improved on before in return.
