I visit this place every year my son has a tennis tournament at Livingston HS. The biggest problem I have is that I never know what to get. The corned beef is superb, but then there's great options like "baked sour cream chicken" which is insanely delicious. You can also stay basic and go with a jumbo hot dog/knish combo. It really doesn't matter. It's all just so good. What a treat to have a place this good in town.

We come to Argyle often. We'll have lunch in the restaurant, or just take home a pound or two of their amazing tuna salad. Others say the management is surly, but we find them extra kind and attentive to their customers. Worth a visit!

Ate here on a quick lunch stop. Found out quick you canât order from the counter if you want to stay. I sat down and was eating my hot pastrami sandwich within 5 minutes. It was good but it wasnât as big as I would expect for a $10+ sandwich. The rye was just ok. Complementary pickles and coleslaw made it better. Good eats but a bit overpriced.
Great place to experience rude, obnoxious, soviet style setvice and receive unasked advice.Came there and all my crime was asking if what hot dishes, if any, were cooked today and still warm, since want eat it right away , preferably without warming. Oh, Lord! Not only THEY LIED !!! and sold me something i clearly asked not to, but I recieved a long lecture as an add on bonus.Besides the unparallele dishonest service, Food quality was less then mediocre. They lost the customer for sure. Fortunately there are other places around. So, if you ask me, : A V O I D at any cost! My advice : A V O I D !!!
