Home for Bob Ciprietti is Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. Growing up there and falling in love with the food, tradition, and people of NY inspired him to bring a little bit of home to Delaware. Touch of Italy first opened in the fall of 2010 in Lewes, Delaware
Friendly staff and such a welcoming atmosphere, immediately makes you want to go into this place and enjoy what is available.. Lots of lovely deli food. However, the gorgonzola stuffed olives were simply wonderful. Good coffee enhanced the lovely cookes and cakes on offer. Even though it was late, there was still plenty of options and the place was so busy. No wifi here - perhaps that has now changed?

My party had the Market Salad, Caesar Salad, and coffee. Both salads were praise-worthy and I am giving them the proper recognition here. It is well worth coming here just for their salads but they also serve excellent sandwiches and dessert cakes. My wife had the coffee and did not complain so...Service is always friendly and available -- they advertise themselves as a "deli" and are set up in that way but they also have table service and it is a nice place for gatherings of friends to drink or snack and talk. The acoustics are better than average and so it is not noisy, even when the tables are full, depending of course on the manners of the people who are there.

Born and raised in South Jersey, I grew up on the best handmade sandwiches on the coast. Philly cheese steakes, Italian subs, meatball subs, Italian sausage subs.....South Jersey sub shops were the bomb! MOved away for 40 years. Came back to Delaware and found Capriotti's....now it's like we never left the area! Capriotti's has fulfilled my craving for the foods that I grew up woth. They offer a great menu and they stuff a sandwich with the best meats and cheeses. This will be my go-to happy place whenever I need a sandwich fix. "The others, can't pack Capriotti's lunch!" Give them a try and enjoy.
the subs used to be great here. We ordered an Italian sub. the sandwich was not a submarine sandwich! MAYBE 6 slices of meat.. TOTAL!! the roll was to puffy and dominated the taste of the sandwich!! the only thing you could taste was onion and bread. Far from a good sandwich! When we went to pay, the cashier only complained about how busy she was! Customer service anyone ??? The sandwich chain "Jersey Mikes" makes a sandwich far better than this place and it is a chain!! We will not be going back!!
