We had a nice quiet lunch with a non-franchised type menu. Stuffed cabbage rolls were excellent. Many items on the menu can be ordered in half orders so the portions are actually manageable. Noise level is subdued so folks can have a conversation with out raising voices to be heard over the music/noise.

We Have been customersof Nelson's since 1963. at that time Leonard, Ric's father owned it and then Ric took it over at his fathers retirement. The friendliness and helpfulness of the employees has never changed. The bakery is out of this world!!!!!!! They have made all our cakes for special occassions and always have used their rolls and buns as well. The grandkids will ask to go to Grandma's for lunch and have those good hotdogs rather thengo out to lunch somewhere. That says a lot for there meats as well. The deli is also very good and the lunches I hear are really good too...JUST A VERY WONDERFUL PLACE WITH SUPER DELICIOUS FOOD THANK YOU

Our son had gotten a gift certificated for the store so we thought we would try it. Very neat and inviting inside. Definitely more for a single or couple dining experience as there were only a few tables for more than two. The menu has something for everyone. The two gentlemen filled our order fairly fast as I believe one of them was new. Food was very good and the soups were great. I'm guessing they do very well with the family take-out meals and the specialty items. I was tempted with the pecan pie but looked at the price and passed. Lunch menu offerings are competitively priced so give it a try. This was our first time at one and would stop again.

We go here every few months for lunch. I like all the different options for a faster meal choice. There are soups, sandwiches, burgers, breakfast items. I usually go grilled cheese with bacon and sweet potato fries. It is just a simple sandwich but it is tasty. Here's a hint - sign up for Belly (an online rewards group for several businesses). I almost always have enough points on my card for a free drink!
