South Union is the deli offshoot of Orchestrate Mgmnt whose portfolio includes local favorites such as Centro, Zombie Burger, Malo, Django, etc. The help yourself garlic foccasia bread is a unique favorite.

If you have to have a quick meal, but want a TON of options, this is your place. This place has so many options and the food was really good. I had the soup and a sandwich and I was really full. I definitely recommend it.

Stopped here for lunch with my husband who has been before with family and friends. The sandwich or grilled meat options are unbelievable and everything is fresh! The butcher was very talkative and helpful and we enjoyed sharing stories of being born in 1963 as it was his birthday and we have that birth year in common! Great atmosphere! Ordered Italian grinder with cheese and peppers and Rueben and both were amazing and satisfying! We will be back for summer grilling meats - everything is butchered fresh right there! Meat packages are available and everything is as you like it! Great for packaged meats or lunch!

We stopped at the 2nd, newer location. Loved the atmosphere and the food was gretoo.Very clean. Huge portions. The turkey sandwich with pickles, ham and mustard was big enough for 2. So good with fresh turkey--not lunchmeat. The fried pickles were good too.

Had dinner on Thursday night before a visit to Drake University. All three entrees were very good as was the service. There is a great choice of beers. Overall a very good meal and experience.
