OK, I know what you are thinking - it's a grocery store. You are correct, but what you may not know is that it also has a hot bar for food. The reason I'm writing the review is everyone needs to check out their fried chicken and their baked beans. The chicken was fresh, hot, and crispy. The baked beans were probably the best I've ever had. Now that is saying a lot because I don't like baked beans. They had just a hint of spice and were sweet at the same time. We also got a roast to cook and the butcher shop was more than willing to cut exactly what we needed. Well done folks!

I wish there was a vegetarian offer other than a cucumber or cheese sandwich but other than that, it is good. They have a very specific amount they are supposed to put on your sandwich and if you want more of something, all you have to do is tell them and they will put it on there, unless it is a cheese or meat. It is always good. The restaurant always seems clean.

My wife and I went to an early dinner and had a lovely time. The owner and his son served us and they were a delight. The service was immediate and attentive. The food is homemade and outstanding. It is obvious that they care about their restaurant and the quality of their recipes. The dining room is pleasant and comfortable and located in a country store setting. Gracious people, good food, and a lovely country setting try it!
I went in later in the evening and they were pretty busy. There were four employees working and as they worked making sandwiches they also cleaned as they went. When I came up they changed their gloves and cleaned the knives without having to be asked. They were pleasant and friendly. They very courteously thought to mark my sandwich for me so I knew which one was which. The experience at this subway was very very different than the experience at the volunteer parkway store.

At Jersey Mikeâs, we offer a sub above â one thatâs measured in more than inches or seconds âtil served. We carefully consider every aspect of what we do â every slice, every sandwich, every store â we provide our customers with sustenance and substance t
We ate here and our order was 2 large meatball subs, 2 chips, and 2 drinks. Total was $31 and change. The sauce was Prego from Walmart, no real flavor besides heaped on Oregano. Bread was cold. Don't know if they toast their stuff like Subway but they didn't offer the service during the order so whatever. Don't waste your money. Subway is better.

My friends and I were looking for food, a decided to give Big Eddie's a try. I asked about the hamburger and they said they were soy burgers. I was so disappointed to hear that, because I wanted a burger. We each got the Big Daddy sandwich. It was huge sandwich and certainly filling.

Other Perkins in the past have been great. This Perkins, however, was the worst ever. First of all, we waited 3 minutes for someone to show up to greet and seat us. The greeter/seater finally appeared and seemed very disturbed that she had to seat us. She possessed no traits favorable to Perkins or any other restaurant. We were seated and then greeted by our waitress who was excellent in all ways. This waitress should seek a restaurant where her excellent personality and skills would be appreciated, but not at Perkins. Our orders included a Swiss patty melt which included grease soaked bread, a dried up ground beef patty, and a trace of onion; and a hot turkey sandwich which included two small, very thinly sliced turkey slices on 2 pieces of dried-up toasted bread, and a teaspoon of gravy over powdered (fake) mashed potatoes. This Perkins restaurant and its greeter need a major make-over. The lack of customer clientele in this restaurant speaks of its desirability. There are better places in Bristol to take your appetite and business.
