This was our second time at the Rørvig Kro and once again a real pleasure. We attended New Year Eveâs celebration there and were treated to a superb menu. Great friendly service from all staff, despite the rush of a full house. If you are in the area it is a must do.

Were met by highly competent and forthcoming personnel, while still maintaining sufficient privacy. Rural atmosphere with many interesting design sidekicks. Feeling of laid back authenticy.Appetizer, two first courses, main course and a serious diverse fan of cheeses were all served with a degree of originality not seen for long. The sheer quality of the raw materials combined fully with an impressive creativity from the chefs team, resulting in a series of positive surprises that underlined the freshness of the local produce. The menu variations were 3 possible first courses, 3 possible main courses, 25 possible cheeses and 3 possible desserts. Any unique combination was possible. The wine menu made a minor impression with Riesling, Zweigelt and Shiraz.Impressions last - Try it.

The main restaurant wasnt open yet (Mid-August they said), but the cafe served wonderful traditional danish food at a large comfortable quiet al fresco patio with a nice view of the waterfront. Though not yet officially open, they were stocked and serving a good variety of delicious danish micro-brews. Super-friendly and helpful owners and staff.

At the 150-year-old Raadvad Kro, hosts Peter and Rikke welcome guests in an idyllic pocket in the middle of the beautiful Jaegersborg Skovdistrikt - right next to Dyrehaven, only 15 minutes north of Copenhagen. The menu is inspired by the nature surroundi
Despite our GPS getting confused, we did find this place and found it was worth the search. We ate on the terrace under large black umbrellas. The lunch menu had about 12 choices along with a limited but good wine/beer list. Service was attentive and responsive. Food was excellent, fresh and innovative. Do try it!Thank you so much

On the North coast of Zealand about 1 hours drive north of Copenhagen we have foundrestaurant H C Andersen huset. I don't don't think anybody will offended if the location is described as somewhat off the beaten track. The food and the service in this old inn is however anything but 'off track'! It is surprisingly good ( in some cases even great) and is certainly a de-tour worthy.A la carte looks pretty old school Danish but the daily menu is Franco-Nordic at is best and took us by surprise. The combination of fresh local produce and good craftsmanship at reasonable prices makes H C Andersen Huset one of the islands best kept secrets. The owner and front of house - Heidi , also a competent sommelier, brings charm and class to the friendly service.Dear JPI was speechless when I read your Review. When guests really appreciate what has taken my husband and I - and of course our lovely staff 20 years to build up. I get so humble. From the bottom of my heart - Thank youRegards Heidi

They were flexible in changing our reservation time as well as us being late for dinner. It was later in the evening so there were no seating after us. The interior and decor is very basic. The inside is nothing impressive. I think it lacked charm and coziness. I've been to a number of Michelin restaurants and I feel like it should have been more impressive. The service and server was great , friendly and knowledgeable. The wines they paired w the courses were excellent!! Well done I would say. The food was delicious and we both enjoyed our dishes. I just wish the restaurants interior had more character to it.

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant as part of a business trip in June. I have never been to a restaurant like it as I normally like to know what I am eating before I choose the restaurant. What a wonderful night we had. Fabulous food and wine. Each dish had been carefully produced and tasted delicious with each wine there to compliment. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Small cafe with a unique location on the harbor in Gilleleje, where the active fishermen, boat builders and marine painters can be followed from the terrace and balcony. We serve local and homemade specialities - e.g. to enjoy in our brunch, cold dishes,
Nice and good restaurant harbour front, we ate delicious fish with nice view and the waiters were very kind !
