Back in 2017 we went to eat here with my wife, and we really enjoyed the food. We have decided to come back again with our friends, however this time we have left disappointed, as the portions were too small compared to our previous visit. 2 stars only, because we felt ripped off. Dear guest, thank you for repeated visit. We are very disappointed about your disappoitment. We will check right today the size of portion. We went into this restaurant and after we seated were given menu, then pretty much just left there and ignored. We asked the waitress twice that weâd like to order but she ignored us the first time a Dan weâre pretty sure she heard us as it was quiet in the restaurant. Then a few minutes we asked again and she replied I canât help you now canât you see Iâm busy? She was just pouring beer. Sure we could see that but last time I checked weâre the customer and what, we couldnât ask for help? Really poor attitude and so we got up and left. Too bad we didnât get to try the food as the pictures outside looked good. Service needs real training on the proper way to respond to customers. Youâre not the only restaurant in town!Dear Erich, thank you for your interest in our restaurant. We are sorry that you did not use the opportunity to taste our great dishes and spend there a pleasant cool time. Unfortunately in our little restaurant we have only one person in service. We are aware that during the day may be situations where the staff is very busy and cannot immediately respond to wishes of all guests at once, but gradually. We are not trying like many others to be the super fast tourist restaurant that feed as many speedy tourists as possible during high season, sorry but that's not our way. We believe that otherwise you liked our lovely historical town. We wish you a peaceful autumn.

Wow, is all we can say! First and very important, you must have reservations otherwise you will have to wait until 9 pm... We started with the bratwurst appetizer, served with a side of pickled slaw, greens and horseradish and mustard... it was outstanding! Spiced just right and very flavorful. Then we had the mixed grill for 2...2 pieces each of pork tenderloin, chicken breast and steak, plus 2 each of baked potatoes, potato pancakes plus the pickled slaw, greens and pickles... Really, 4 persons would have had enough food because the portions were huge! Everything was perfectly grilled, tender, juicy and tasty! The two of us could not eat it all!Service was excellent and this dinner was one of the best during our 17 days in the Czech Republic! Did I mention that we had all of the above plus a large beer, 3 glasses of wine and a cappuccino for about $40.00 US! Great quality, service, ambiance that cannot be beat!

Two different meals ordered. One ok the other not so. The duck meal was extremely overcooked, chared and burnt. The duck did not taste freshly cooked. Would not visit again.

We had a fabulous dinner in this charming upscale restaurant within the Bellevue Hotel. Le Jardin offers some cosy indoor tables, a few covers within a quiet garden courtyard, & on a terrace out front of the hotel. The white gloved service was spot on, polished, but friendly & knowledgeable. The meal kicked off with superb homemade bread & butter & a very tasty pork belly amuse bouche. Thereafter, starters & mains were excellent; very creative, flavoursome & beautifully presented. Not sure if itâs a local trait but the chef had a tendency towards sweet sauces in his savoury dishes. Interesting! Puds were less impressive & the recommended chocolate fondant was a heavy beast. Overall though, a damn good meal, & the place to come for a smart lunch/dinner. Quite pricey for the area, with steaks priced at £30. They also offer a tasting menu, with or without wine flight.Dear mrstraveller1,thank you for choosing our restaurant for your dinner and for dedicating your time to sharing here your kind and valuable review. It is the best reward for us to read that you had one enjoyable evening with us and that you appreciated our meal offer, the restaurant ambiance, and our personnel attitude. Since our goal is to treat each guest with the best manner possible, your words of praise will be highly appreciated and forwarded to the entire team.On behalf of the entire team, I truly hope to welcome you here again soon and maybe surprise you with a new menu that our chef changes over the seasons. With kind regards,Anna Äermáková - Guest Relation ManagerTeam Le Jardin
