Fun dinner. Great lobster. Music group playing. Pleasant evening The area was full of outside bars. A beautiful church and if you looked inside many windows you would see beauty in tiles and paintings. Many small dining areas in each owners homes for public dining as in a small restaurant

Wow, what an experience. This is authentic Cuban cuisine at its finest. Located in a beautiful courtyard filled with greenery and fountains, the location definitely hit the mark. But it was the food that really wowed. It's hard to describe the soups I tried without moving into cliche, so I guess I'll just have to move into cliche! I'd describe both the vegetable and tomato soup as simple yet incredibly refined; and subtle yet bursting with flavour. The seafood skewers were magnificent. Meaty pieces of lobster and shrimp cooked to perfection, presented on large wooden skewers. The grilled fish was also a winner - I don't know what it is about how Cubans grill their fish, but they manage to retain so much flavour and juiciness! This was very much the case here. For dessert we had tarte de caramel - it was homemade, light but with a detailed flavour profile. Divine! The only knock on the dining experience would be that service wasn't overly attentive (it was very busy when we arrived), and that both drinks, starters and mains arrived at the same time. I'd recommend ordering mains after the starters have arrived to avoid this happening, or to let the waiter/ waitress know this is what you'd prefer, if you happen to speak a lot better spanish than I do!Hi.Your opinion excites us and leaves us speechless, thank you very much for this wonderful waste of genius and descriptions about our services and meals.Once again thank you thousands.Management Sol & Son

We found this place quite by accident. Had a delicious breakfast and coffee con leche at very reasonable price. Service was slow. One server was floating around, absently wiping tables, no other customers, yet we had to flag her down. Decided the food was worth a repeat, so we came back for dinner. Not as good. My husband's burger was raw in the middle. It took over 10 minutes to get a replacement. One server was awesome, very attentive, and hard working but the same server from the morning shift was there also, leaning up against the counter looking out the window. Kudos to the hard working young lady, for keeping a smile on her face and working so hard while her co-worker rested.

Located on the corner of the intersection of two streets, Adita looked very inviting when we passed by on a couple of occasions, so decided to head there for an evening meal.We arrived about the right time, as whilst we were dining a queue had formed, so you might be advised to book. I noticed that the staff all wore the same striped bandana which those at San Jose wore, as well as monogrammed aprons (also much like those at San Jose). When I looked at the chefs in the open plan kitchen their aprons were monogrammed âSan Joseâ. So Iâm assuming this place is the same owner/management, so comparisons are now inevitable (see my other review of San Jose).I much preferred the layout and menu at Adita cafe, it felt less formal and more upto date. Despite their being one or two âcrossoversâ on the menu there was enough variance to differentiate it from its sister venue, Adita felt far more Italian influenced and that extended to aspects of the decor too. Service, quality of food and prices were all excellent. Given the choice of returning to one or the other my preference would be for Adita, though you might prefer San Jose.Muchas gracias por su visita y opinión, todo el colectivo de trabajo agradece mucho su opinión, gracias por su tiempo y que se repita la visita.

We had dinner there with friends in March. My boyfriend asked for french fries and they made some especially for him. We found everything delicious (stuffed pepppers, seafood, fish, and were amazed by the size of the lobster tails. The waitress was very nice, asking many times if everything was ok.

I and my partner Bora enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Cesar's place in the patio in January 2019. He gave us an unforgettable experience in his restaurant 1514 («Quince Catorce»). The restaurant is a beautiful time-machine with all the old interior of glasses, plates, antiques, classy fridges etc. We visited the restaurant first during day-time when it was closed, and we were more than welcome to have a look around. And that's where we already saw that they are caring about the small things and details. And in the evening: Wow! What a feeling to arrive there and enjoying dinner. The food was delicious and the service best we had in a long time. Also, we had private dance classes between our courses and live music from Santiago de Cuba.We enjoyed our evening very much as we not only had dinner: We were given an unforgettable experience at a beautiful, romantic and ancient place, with delicious food, warm and friendly people, great music, good dancers and especially we got to know Cesar who's the best host in Cuba and connaisseur de Ron. Thanks for the great experience and we'll be back for sure one day. Muchas Gracias

We went to San Jose partially because of the good reviews, but that was not the best choice. We had seafood croquettes as a starter, which were ok. But the mains were plain poor. I had a more Cuban dish (fried pork strips with rice). The pork floated in oil and was lacking taste. My girlfriend had chicken cordon bleu (or something alike) and she had the same experience (oily, not nice to eat). Apart from the food, the service was very bland and unpersonal and there was some nature documentary on the gigantic TV with music so loud that it kept me from enjoying the experience.Excuse us, sir, for not being able to make your stay in San Jose a pleasant experience, we have all the work group pending to our clients and their opinions and we work to be sure that such situation will not be repeated. Our workers know that the most important are our customers. regards

We are a Restaurant in Trinidad, Cuba offering Cuban food with a European Twist. We pride ourselves on serving the freshest produce daily. We also offer vegetarian and vegan options.
Good1. Service. Very well organised and polite wait staff. Asked for written feedback at end.2. Bread we had with dips was very good - as was the guacamole. 3. Vegan and Vegetarian options - rare in Cuba.4. Vegan curry was ok.5. Lemon drinks very good.Bad1. The worst chicken curry I have ever had. Chicken was grossly over cooked. As tough as shoe leather. No spice in curry.2. Hummus was very bland and the pumpkin dip was sugary sweet. Overall, providing you avoid the chicken curry and dips, it was ok.Dear MikeAllsop,Thank you for your review.Glad to hear that you enjoyed the service here. Sorry to hear that you didnât enjoy the chicken curry. If you had brought this to your waiters attention we could have checked it and changed it for another. The pumpkin dip is made from roasted pumpkin and a pinch of cinnamon which gives it a sweet taste. I personally check the dips daily and fear that they are just not to your taste.Thank you for your feedback which helps us improve our restaurant. We wish you all the best on your travels,Enma & family

We exhibit a decoration fused with ancient and contemporary styles; suveniles of dissimilar international cultures and a varied exhibition of guitars, a symbol of the place, each of them exalts the expression of important artists of Cuban and Trinitarian
The restaurant decor was charming and the atmosphere warm. The food was excellent and nicely presented. The Canchanchara was the best I had in Cuba...with lots of tasty honey. The guy playing guitar was entertaining...and good...would never suspect that he retired from the Cuban Navy special forces. The only problem....was too full after the lunch! Saludos.
