Authentic Cuban ice cream sandwiches and Pizza.
This is a tiny little family run Cuban pizza place. Food is delicious and it's impeccably clean. When looking for it, We passed it, kind of hard to see bc it's next to a pawn shop. They need better signage. But the veggie, cheese and pepperoni pizzas were all made w fresh ingredients and tasty. This place fits about 10-12 people. We were a family of 5 and were the only ones sitting down. I noticed most folks just walk in and take out or sit at the counter. Harry seems to be the manager. He was great. We ordered coconut, mango, chocolate and Mamey ice cream sandwiches for dessert. They were all amazing. Chocolate was my least favorite only bc it's such a traditional flavor. Coconut tasted like fresh coconut. Same for mango and Mamey. We loved them so much we decided to put in a big order for my husbands bday the next day. Instead of a cake we served a bunch of Cuban ice cream sandwiches. They were a huge hit! Highly recommend this place. Big shout out to Harry who helped us. Great service too!! We will be back often!

Always stop here for a good meal. No highway robbery and friendly service. Spanish is main language here but they know some English. Heaping portions and good staff. Thank you very much for your comment! Happy month of Love and Friendship!

I was nearby visiting clients, and it was already past lunch time, so I decided to try this restaurant, had no previous information, we were very nicely attended by the waitress, she explained a few items, and went with a recommendation she had for a cuban dish, that was with seafood and fish....it was great and filling, all was perfect, so I will come back again.
Great food menu, thirsty they got you. The owner and staff are awesome, super attentive. Please treat yourself and order the Cuban Frita!

On the day we visited Ciboney for breakfast it was very quite. The decor is great with dark mohogany tables, coffee sacks on the ceiling and painted wood panelling, the waiting staff are smartly dressed, it has a feel of old colonial Havana about it. The restaurant is right next to party city in the commercial centre and has ample parking. The breakfast is very good value for money, 3 good size pancakes $2.99 and eggs, bacon or ham, hash brown, Cuban toast and coffee at $4.95. Everything was really good and the service was excellent. Cuban eateries come in all shapes and sizes I would say that this one is trying to aim at the higher end, without the higher prices. If we had time we would have certainly came back for dinner. One word of caution Ciboney does not open until 9am week days.

Restaurant is located in Miami Lakes but may also be found in HIaleah. In addition, this restaurant has several locations around miami.
This restaurant was recommended by the staff at our hotel. We were very disappointed and would not go back. First of all, the staff do not speak English. We felt like nobody wanted to wait on us due to the fact that we did not speak Spanish. Most importantly, the food was poor; it was served cold and we felt like there was nothing we could do about it due to the language barrier. Very poor experience.
