We received great service in the outside seating section in early March 2019 by a young lady who said she did not have good English but understood us well and delivered great service. The Cuban coffee with milk was very, very good, and both my husband and I liked what we had for supper (Pan Con Bistec and Elena Ruz). We recommend this if you're looking for a nice, inexpensive place to eat (total bill for everything above was $20.40).

While in the area on business, a few coworkers and I came to this restaurant for dinner. The entire staff was extremely friendly and courteous and the restaurant provided a great atmosphere. The food was served hot, fresh, delicious, and in a huge portion. If youâre ever in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Food was good but not great, service is reasonably efficient, but not very friendly or engaging, salad dressings and chimichura sauces are served in puny plastic portions that beg you to ask for additional servings. We only had to cross the street to get here, but will choose to travel further for something better the next time we're here.
While visiting family in Homestead/Miami, we were taken to this restaurant...what a delight! It was authentic Cuban food, with all the authentic flavours. Portion sizes are very generous(2 ppl could essentially dine from one serving) and cost is awesome! It has a nice open air patio, giving you the opportunity to soak up the gorgeous South Florida weather. Highly recommended.

Go for the food. Period. It is a very cute place from the outside and has an outside seating area. We chose to eat inside. The inside is well...not that impressive. But the food, oh the food, go for the food. If you want alcohol they have wine and beer. The beer comes with a chilled mug! This place is all about the food. I had the house chicken which was perfecty seasoned. With it I ordered the rice and black beans which I would have been happy with by themselves. My husband ordered the Cubano Especiale, which he loved. He said the ham in the cubano was so tender it was like eating butter. While we were there, the take out orders far out numbered the dine in crowd. As a testament to the authenticity, we were the only folks who ordered in English.
