A friend from South Florida recommended this restaurant to us. We've been to several Cuban restaurants in the area, and had not been terribly impressed. But wow. This was so good, and so cheap. The key to any sandwich is the bread, right? this bread is fantastic, crunchy but not too tough on the outside, tender on the inside so that it presses down nicely. The Cuban delivers, but the Brenda is just incredible. I asked the staff what sandwich they recommend, and the Brenda was the pick. The soups are terrific too. The lentil and chorizo is flavorful and filling, but the caldo gallego is even better. The papa rellena, empanadas, and plantains were great as well.

Authentic Cuban food, a new concept of fresh and house made food with a distinctive service that offers a culinary experience with no comparison. The House specialty is focused on Cuban Pork and Caribbean Seafood.
I love this place. We live in Daytona, but we like to come here when we have the chance. My favorite is the Vaca Frita, which is a fried shredded beef. So delicious. I don't see this on many menus so I get it here when I come. Staff is always friendly and the food is outstanding and authentic. Also, you HAVE to get a cup of coffee. Try the Cortadito. Oh my goodness. Best in the universe. :-) One final note: they bake their bread fresh, so don't forget to order some with your meal. Thank you Becky, we hope to see you again soon!!!

Visited this wonderful little cafe with a friend that has been going there for several years. I was not aware that is was there. What a delightful experience. The food was outstanding. My understanding was that they make the food fresh daily and after eating there it is no surprise. My first visit had a Cuban sandwich and red beans. Both were just plain "yummy". My second visit 5 days later was with a friend from Miami. Having pretty much grown up on Cuban food was anxious to try it. We both had the shredded beef with rice and beans, potato ball and beef empanadas. Nothing to be said but EXCELLENT. A clean as can be place with fantastic food that you can eat in or take out. What more could be said. Just go and try it out and you will understand. So glad to have found this treasure.
