Whether you just want to grab a meal, or celebrate something (school reunion, wedding, business meeting,...); whether you're just passing by and want to grab a breakfast, or are working nearby for a few days - this is what you are looking for, they have it all at very popular prices. Nice, "homey" atmosphere, kind staff, excellent food - you get all that. They specialize private parties, and you can order a suckling pig or a lamb on a skew - you shouldn't dare not to try this...
The "Fontana" restaurant was founded by the Pticar family in 1971 and is owned by the same family today. Our restaurant is located in the central part of Croatia (Sisak-Moslavina County), on the main road between Kutina and Sisak, in the peaceful Moslavac
We had a full meal (soup, mains, dessert) and we were thrilled with every single part of it. Great food, friendly staff and really nice atmosphere. Definitely would recommend :)
I was having a difficult time trying to determine a suitable grade for this place. The soup was awful, the main course was acceptable and the homemade bread was great. The table was extremely dirty, but the staff was very nice. The prices were more than fair.

Restaurant Djed is placed on top of the hill surrounded with nature and a beautiful view on the river Una. It offers local cuisine that include meat in chestnut sauce and special chestnut dumpling dessert with chocolate cream. Restaurant also offers all k
I was there during a short one-day-trip with a couple of friends for a drink. The road that leads up to the Restaurant is on some parts a little bit steeply,so it may be good if a experienced driver drives up there. If you go by foot, there's no problem. The restaurant has a pleasant vibe, with wooden outdoor seating places. But I have to warn you that there's no view on Hrvatska Kostajnica or the Una valley, because there's a thick forest around the restaurant.

Mlinski Kamen offers sophisticated Croatian cuisine, featuring both new and traditional dishes, crafted exclusively from local ingredients from our own eco-farm (the farm can also be visited). The beautiful ambience and preserved nature of Mlinski Kamen,
As soon as you get to Mlinski kamen (the Millstone Resort), you can feel all the love and effort that has gone into establishing this lovely retreat so very near Zagreb. The accommodation emulates the look and feel of traditional wooden houses with traditional furniture; even though the lodgings are equipped with the TV, you really donât want to turn it on because thereâs plenty to see, ride horses (and ponies) and go hiking along the lovely river Kupa and in the countryside. And then the restaurant and the food!!! Itâs proper homemade food and hearty meals into which you can tuck with gusto. Iâm a vegetarian and I found no problems when I asked for a dish to be made for me sans meat (and mushrooms, which I just donât like; I know, Miss Fussy). I donât know where to start: the cheese, produced at the farm, is simply heavenly (thereâs hard cheese, cottage cheese, and cheese from cooked milk with added flavours (red peppers, black pepper, chives, porcini mushrooms etc. or smoked; the smoked one with added ground peppers is a superb combo), and they are all delicious. As for the food at the restaurant, I have to admit I overindulged, but I couldnât stop myself because everything was simply delicious. I had chestnut soup, which was beyond scrumptious, then the lovely veggie quiche and baked vegetables; and the portions are quite generous :). A little sidenote: Meat-eaters, fear not - Mlinski kamen also offers their own meat and cured meat products; itâs just not my thing. I also must mention the staff, who were very kind and friendly, made you feel really welcome. All in all, a wonderful day spent at Mlinski kamen, a charming retreat with excellent food that I wholeheartedly recommend.Thank you very much for your visit and feedback. Your kind words are an encouragement for us to strive to be even better. We hope you will visit us againg.
Friends recommended the place to us and it was a good recommendation. An absolutely magnificent setting in the vineyards. Really nicely maintained building and facilities. Excellent food. It was promising a 5 star rating. Very unfortunate that it was understaffed, and that - although they have a winery - this did not come across. 1. No one offered us a wine list, and even when prompted, there was no attempt to have any enthusiastic discussion about the wines they offered. Consequently, instead of going for wine, we ended up going for soft drinks. We would have for sure done some tasting and probably bought a few bottles to take home. 2. Once we had ordered and got lunch, we were forgotten. Despite attempts to catch attention, no one came over to see if we needed additional drinks, coffee, or desert. This lasted for a while, and we lost interest in anything other than paying and leaving.Missed opportunities for the place and a disappointment to us. Before going there again we will certainly check out other places in the area.Dear EstherMichael, you have wrote very nice review. We have just a few vines (three at this point), we are still very young winery. Iâm very sorry you didnt have a chance to taste it. I hope you will give us another chance to improve your experience. Pls, give me a call to book you a table +385977771000.

On my way to Sarajevo from Italy, myself and my group (9 persons in total) stopped halfway in Kutina. The rooms are brand new, quiet, big and perfectly equipped, and we also had the chance to have dinner at the restaurant (the property consists of the Pub, a Restaurant and a few rooms), and it was excellent.Very friendly staff, reasonable prices, great rooms and very good food: what could you ask more?Perfect for a stopover, I would go back again.

The interiour was fabolous, toiletes were extra clean, garden table we took was in deep shade and we hear sound of the wather that came from small fountain. Iâve ordered Rib eye steak with wok vegetables and hommade fried potatoes. Before main course arrived we had a few bites of toasted bread and Istrian domestic olive oil. It was good starter. My main course came and I was very satisfied. The chef missed only few seconds on the grill to make this steak the perfect one. This is the only reason I have put 4 stars for this very good experience. I feel sad because I could not drink some red wine after this teriffic meal.
