We are a family of five and stumbled on this restaurant because we lived nearby. The food was great and so was the service. Quickly served. We had a complaint about a steak, and the waiter smiled and brought us a new dish. Very reasonable prices. Seemed to be mostly locals in the restaurant.

After settling in at an indifferent hotel in the vicinity it was with some trepidation that we walked the 800m or so through uninspiring residential streets to this restaurant that had been recommended. It was absolutely top class. It was not just Croatian but international dishes. The food was exquisite, the meat beautifully tender and served most artistically by a really professional waiter. We ate Schweinemedaillons (pork) and Putensteak (chicken), and were able to help ourselves to salad from the bar. At just over â¬40 for the two of us including a drink it was not cheap but a real treat.
